When arriving at the Hanoi Opera House area, N. met a group of about 20-30 other motorbikes and invited his friends to join the troupe. Because he was not wearing a helmet, N. and his friend increased the accelerator and drove at high speed in the direction of Tran Khanh Du - Hospital 108 - Tran Hung Dao.

Arriving at Ba Trieu intersection, the motorbike driven by N.H.N. collided with Ms. N.H.Q.'s motorbike which was stopped waiting for a red light. The strong impact caused both the car and the driver to fall to the road.

Talking about the reason for joining the motorcycle convoy, N.H.N. testified that he was curious, wanted to experience the feeling of driving at high speed and see if he would meet acquaintances.
