Currently, Ms. Ng. is making a petition to the People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City. Hue intervened to obtain the results of the assessment of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police about the lotter.y ticket that was refused to pay the prize, in order to serve as evidence in the trial. "This is an important piece of evidence in court. I will be determined to pursue the case to the end."

Ms. Ng. added that there are a number of lawyers who have come and are ready to provide free legal support to accompany her in this lawsuit. However, Ms. Ng affirmed that she will need the help of a lawyer, but has not yet decided whether to hire a lawyer or receive free support. Ms. Ng is also looking for a way to mobilize an amount of 50 million VND (equivalent to 2.5% of 2 billion VND) to pay court costs. Since the incident occurred, Thua Thien Hue Provincial Export Company has not had any contact with Ms. Ng. The company's representative has also announced that she is ready to work in court.

Regarding the incident, in the Labor newspaper, Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Supervisory Council of Thua Thien Hue Province, said that he had a meeting with the leaders of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Construction Company.

"Brothers who sell lotter.y tickets want them to win, but the lotter.y is mone.y, so you have to be cautious. I have to follow the law and regulations to win the prize, I can't direct the guarantee or not pay," Mr. Phuong shared.

As already informed, previously, Ms. Ng. bought 2 lotter.y tickets of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Lotter.y Company and won 2 prizes: 1 special prize worth 50 million VND and 1 special prize worth 2 billion VND. However, due to 2 torn lotter.y tickets due to rain, Thua Thien Hue Provincial Lotter.y Company only agreed to pay a prize for the winnin.g lotter.y ticket of 50 million VND, while the winnin.g lotter.y ticket of 2 billion VND was rejected.

Ms. Ng. asked the police to assess the winnin.g lotter.y ticket of 2 billion VND, the results confirmed that the lotter.y ticket was real and not erased, but Thua Thien Hue Provincial Lotter.y Company still decided not to pay the prize. A representative of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Lotter.y Company explained that the winnin.g lotter.y ticket was torn at an angle, coinciding with the position where the Ticket Destruction Council usually tightens when destroying tickets in stock or errors. For this reason, the company cannot confirm the validity of the lotter.y ticket.
