Thanh Bui reappears, shocking comments about artists' charity and statements

Since his wife, musician and singer Thanh Bui, was temporarily detained in October 2022, he has focused on raising his twin sons and developing the family business.

Currently, Thanh Bui rarely appears on stage and "retreats" to the role of art training. In 2012, he founded the Soul Music and Performing Arts Academy. Currently, this place has become a multidisciplinary Arts Academy.

Looking back on more than 10 years of working in education, Thanh Bui shared: "I think to be worthy of the title of artist, in addition to artistic work, one must also demonstrate responsibility to society. I believe that each person has their own mission. My choice to help and contribute to society is education.

Education promotes the comprehensive development of each child through academics, arts, and sports. Besides, I am also passionate about special education and intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder."

Thanh Bui believes that from 12 years ago until now, his mission is still to continue to guide and motivate the young generation of artists not to give up their desire to reach out to the world.

"Nurturing art from a young age, helping children access international curriculum, being guided by a team of experts, and showing them the way to leading international art schools, is opening up opportunities for young talents. Realizing the dream and aspiration of reaching out to the world for young Vietnamese artists is what I want to do at this time," the musician shared.

According to Thanh Bui, in order for young Vietnamese talents to realize their dreams and aspirations of reaching international standards, it is imperative that the education and training process in Vietnam catch up with the entrance standards of professional art schools around the world.

Thanh Bui's first generation of students such as Vu Cat Tuong, Tien Tien, Bich Ngoc (J.ade)... to the next generation such as Vu Song Vu, Lieu Ngoc Bao Thanh, Nguyen Gia Khanh... are all studying and working abroad.

In particular, there are young talents who have won scholarships to the world's leading art schools, typically "drum prodigy" Nguyen Trong Nhan with a scholarship to Idyllwild Arts Academy (USA).

Regarding his current life, Thanh Bui said he receives a lot of positive energy from work, so he always feels motivated to continue contributing to education and art.

In addition, the development of his children also gives Thanh Bui a lot of motivation. He said that no matter what the circumstances, he always protects and gives the best to his children.

In addition to life and business, Thanh Bui also frankly talked about artists in showbiz doing charity work that is "causing a storm" in the online community. Thanh Bui said: "Thanh thinks that to be worthy of the two words artist, in addition to artistic work, one must also show responsibility to society. Vietnam has many artists doing charity work, in one way or another. Whatever they do, it is worthy of respect if it helps and contributes to the community."

Thanh Bui was born in 1983 in Australia. He has been passionate about music since childhood and officially started his singing career in 2004 as a member of the band North. In 2008, Thanh Bui was the first Asian to enter the top 8 of the Australian Idol competition. He then returned to Vietnam and released his first single, a duet with Ho Ngoc Ha called "Lăng tham mot tinh yeu" in 2010.

Then came a series of hits such as: Where does love come from, Living wholeheartedly for each other, Don't turn back and go, bringing Thanh Bui closer to Vietnamese audiences. Thanh Bui is also one of the Vietnamese artists who has had the most opportunities to collaborate with international singers. He signed a contract with Universal, wrote thousands of songs, opened a music school in Australia, and had international hits.

The single "Where Does Love Come From" was made in Thailand. The joint music product of Thanh Bui and the Thai diva was widely promoted in both Vietnam and Thailand.

In 2018, Thanh Bui became the first and only Vietnamese artist to attend the Billboard Music Awards. This is one of the most valuable and highly regarded music charts in the world.
