Previously, on the evening of September 8, Phuong Le donated 500 million VND to the Vietnam Red Cross Society with the desire to share the burden with people in areas affected by storm No. 3 (storm Yagi).

"As a Vietnamese citizen, I donated part of the money. I hope everyone will join hands, no matter how big or small, to help share the burden after natural disasters," she shared.

Initially, Phuong Le planned to send supplies and necessities to help the people. However, due to the urgent situation, she decided that it would be more convenient to transfer money directly and ask the government to support the people.

"For me, when I am luckier than others, I have the responsibility to share with those who are less fortunate. I have a stable business, so this is the time to join hands to support the less fortunate," Phuong Le said.

Faced with rumors of "polishing" her name when the online community "checked" the statement of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and did not see Phuong Le's name, she posted an article sharing the thanks of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.

"I really don't want to explain, but I feel it's too much when my donation money is fabricated. This is a sensitive matter for me, so I have to speak up. I donated 500 million VND to the Central Fatherland Front and the relief committee on August 29, but the statement is from September 1.

"Are those who say I didn't donate, just photoshopped a fake money transfer receipt, willing to accept it? They never thought that after donating I would have to prove it, and if I didn't say it, no one would understand the injustice," she shared.
