On January 14, on December 23, about 120,000 passengers passed through Tan Son Nhat airport, this is the highest level since the beginning of the peak season to serve the Lunar New Year.

According to the plan on January 14, Tan Son Nhat airport will operate 868 take-off/landing flights. An estimated 120,000 people passed through the airport, including about 84,000 domestic passengers.

A representative of Tan Son Nhat airport said that the number of passengers today reached 120,000 people, which is considered the highest level since the beginning of the peak season. However, in the coming days, the number of visitors will continue to increase.

Due to the peak, Tan Son Nhat International Airport is currently applying enhanced level 1 aviation security control measures.

This airport also adjusted the coordination parameter of landing and take-off time to 44 flights/hour in the time frames from 6-23h55 and 36 flights/hour from 0h-5h55. This level is considered the highest level in many years, when the previous average was only about 40 takeoffs/landings per hour.
