"There is a difference between the movie I invested in and my movie. I invested in Southern Forest Land, but the project owner is another party. Mai is my movie, invested and directed entirely by me. .

This is my brainchild, a film in which I decided everything about the actors and budget. When Mai was about to come out, I was nervous and pressured like I was about to send my child off to study abroad," Tran Thanh said.

Revealing the budget spent on Mai, Tran Thanh said: "I invested quite a bit of money to get the most special, quality images. I rented many good cameras and rebuilt the apartment." , pay extra salaries for the actors... The movie was expected to be filmed for 30 days but there were 47 days left over, so the cost increased a lot. A romantic movie with a budget of nearly 50 billion VND is quite a lot (laughs)."
