Squid games have never been a pleasant story. But if season 3 is the end, and the tragic ending, then at the very least, it needs to be a deeply human tragedy. The audience may not want to see Hyun-ju, Dae-ho or Gi-hun die. But if their end is to save a newborn being, to affirm human dignity in a world distorted by money and control, then, perhaps, that departure is necessary.
