The strong hit caused 5 motorcycles to be thrown up, badly damaged. The injured lay on the road, car debris, helmets and shoes strewn everywhere. Among them, 1 seriously injured victim is being treated at Ninh Thuan General Hospital.

The video after posting has received thousands of views and comments from netizens, all of whom said that it is possible that the driver of the car used alcohol while operating the vehicle, leading to the failure to control the steering wheel and causing the accident.

Through research, the above accident occurred at National Highway 1 through Vinh Hao commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province (near the newly renovated Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway entrance node), the road surface is flat and dry. After receiving the information, the authorities immediately arrived, investigated and clarified the cause of the incident.

A person who witnessed the accident said that before the strong hit, the car was going quite fast. When about 20m from the traffic light stop, the vehicle did not slow down but swerved past the truck in the same direction ahead, ran close to the curb and crashed into a series of stopped motorcycles.

As a result, according to the report of the Public Security Department of Binh Thuan province, the driver of the car is N.C.H (underage to drive a car), residing in Vinh Cuu district, Dong Nai province. The initial cause was determined, this young driver did not pay attention while on the road, causing the accident. Through a quick test, H. did not violate the alcohol level or "mai thuy".

Accordingly, the truck driver, H.D.B (43 years old, from Tan Uyen City, Binh Duong) driving from Thuan An Hoa street to My Phuoc - Tan Van street, suddenly hit a series of stopped cars at a red light.

As a result, a 20-year-old man (from Vu Ban, Nam Dinh) died on the spot, two injured people, M.V.H (36 years old, from Thuan An city, Binh Duong) and P.N.T (43 years old, from Quang Binh) were taken to the emergency room later. In addition to the aforementioned three motorcycles, the truck also collided with a tractor-trailer with HCMC license plates, causing damage to both vehicles.

At 15:30, on January 2, 2019, at Binh Nhat intersection, near Ben Luc bridge in km 1936 National Highway 1 in Nhat Chanh commune, Ben Luc district, Long An province, a container truck hit about 18 motorbikes that were stopped waiting for a red light, killing and injuring many people. Witnesses said the container truck hit the motorbikes about 20m from the bridge and ran a new stop.

At the scene at nearly 19:00, authorities are examining every detail of the container truck that caused the accident to determine whether this vehicle lost its brakes or not. Many of the victims' motorcycles in a crushed condition were moved to the curb.

According to observations, from the red light position at Binh Nhut intersection on National Highway 1 to the foot of Ben Luc bridge - where the container truck stopped after dragging motorbikes and many victims more than 200 meters long.
