In 1965, she was famous for her role as Thuy Duong in the play "Two times to make an appointment" on the Thu Do stage. Also in this year, she joined Kim Chung's group. Under the guidance of artist Minh Canh, My Chau successfully played the role of Mai Thao in the play "Virgin laurel", which was loved by many people, making her one of the brightest stars on the field. stage Kim Chung.

In 1967, My Chau was awarded the Gold Medal of the Thanh Tam Prize.

The career is brilliant, but the marriage of My Chau is difficult. Because she wanted to help her family and save her mother's hardship, she only focused on singing and acting on stage, not interested in love affairs. Therefore, love came to My Chau later than the famous beauties of that time in Saigon. It was not until the age of 40 that My Chau married her co-star Duc Minh.

My Chau said that the love story with artist Duc Minh was predestined. In the early days of meeting, My Chau hated Duc Minh. Although My Chau is a gentle and simple person, she is very serious at work and that's why she can't like Duc Minh, who is always late to practice because he is engrossed in watching football. My Chau said, once because Duc Minh was busy watching football, he was late, making the audience wait. My Chau was so angry that even when acting on stage, she still didn't look at her colleagues for a second.

However, the true love god knows how to make fun of the world, the couple Duc Minh - My Chau changed from unjust family to lovers. Their love lasted all the time about collaborating with Doan Saigon 1, Huong Thu, Saigon 3, Golden Bell Minh Phung... and in 1990, they got married. The unfortunate thing in the marriage of the two artists is that they got married when My Chau was in her 40s, so she couldn't have children. This has caused My Chau to torment himself for a long time.

The lack of children's laughter and tears makes My Chau always carry heavy emotions, but it is the love of artist Duc Minh that helps her to feel secure. He did not have children, but he did not reject My Chau because of that, on the contrary, he was always by his side to care for, love and cherish his wife. Thanks to that great sincerity of her husband, My Chau regained her joy in life. In return, My Chau doesn't like football, but every time her husband goes to play, she also prepares clothes for him as well as supports the home team. Traveling abroad, she is shopping and choosing sports clothes by herself as gifts for her husband.

Although the fate came a bit late, she felt that her life was lucky to have such a rare life partner. But, happiness did not last long when in 2013, artist Duc Minh had a tumor in his liver, My Chau quickly brought her husband back to the US for treatment and extended his life for more than 8 months before he passed away. Meritorious Artist My Chau brought the remains of the late artist Duc Minh back to his country according to his wishes (in Ben Tre).

In recent years, fulfilling her husband's will, My Chau has moved to many states in the US to visit artists who have had many memories with her and her husband. These meetings are to preserve and promote the art of reform.
