The representative of the host country Thailand, Malin Sae-lim, made controversial statements and actions at Miss Grand International 2024. However, Mr. Nawat ignored it. Many people think that the chairman is covering up for his own chicken.

Malin Sae-lim is one of the most controversial contestants at Miss Grand International ( MGI) this year. She livestreamed that Thae Su Nyein (Miss Myanmar) often leaves her room with a bare face in the early morning and appears well-groomed when she returns. She herself suspects that her opponent receives support from a team behind her - something that is forbidden at MGI and other beauty pageants.

Malin wants the organizers to clarify this matter but has not received any response yet. However, she and the Myanmar representative, another girl with no less controversy, still interact happily and sit next to each other at parties.

Previously, Malin was criticized by Miss Grand Cambodia Sotheary Bee for being fake when she cried at the airport and showed fear of quail eggs served in Cambodia. According to Sotheary, this dish is very popular in Thailand and is a nutritious dish so Malin Sae-lim must know it well. Agreeing with Sotheary, there were comments criticizing Malin for being too exaggerated when she showed panic.

In recent days, Malin has been criticized for her lack of professionalism. According to behind-the-scenes photos, she was the last contestant to arrive for a photo shoot before the contestants visited the Thai Thani Cultural Village. She is of mixed Thai and Singaporean descent, 1.65 m tall, with a beautiful face. The contestant pursues a sexy, youthful style, posting many pictures showing off her body curves.

Previously, Malin's domestic victory was controversial because of her small appearance. However, when considering other factors, Malin is quite outstanding. She is one of the Miss Grand Thailand contestants with the highest number of followers on Instagram. At MGI 2024, Malin has not made a strong impression so far and is not expected to be a strong candidate.

As for the Myanmar representative, after being publicly criticized by Malin, she suffered serious losses.

Accordingly, after a series of scandals, the No. 1 position of Myanmar's representative at Miss Grand International 2024 began to be shaken. Previously, she was always No. 1 in the Miss Popular Vote round with an overwhelming number of votes, more than all other contestants combined. As a result, the top position now belongs to the representative of Indonesia with 37% of the votes, while Thae Su Nyein only owns 32% of the votes, half of the number when the voting portal first opened.

Thae Su Nyein was involved in a scandal before the competition even started, when she was only 17 years old this year, while the Miss Grand International organizers still stipulated that eligible contestants must be 18 years old or older. Next, the Myanmar representative was suspected of cheating.

Then Thae Su Nyein showed an unfriendly attitude towards other contestants twice, turning away and glancing at the Vietnamese representative, then frowning and leaving when she saw the Venezuelan beauty approaching and wanting to livestream with her.

It can be seen that Thae Su Nyein is no longer an outstanding candidate at Miss Grand International 2024. Because no matter how impressively beautiful she is, she is losing points after a series of controversial actions.

MGI is now entering an important phase. Although the Vietnamese representative is not predicted to be in the highest position, she is still among the potential candidates, capable of reaching the top 10.

Recently, Thuy Tien went to Thailand to attend the opening of MGI but did not meet Que Anh, causing the public to raise many questions.

However, some opinions say that the former MGI is busy and must return to Vietnam immediately. Not to mention, Que Anh is a contestant, and Thuy Tien will most likely be a judge on the final night. Therefore, meeting privately is not advisable.
