Suchata Chuangsri is Thailand's first Miss World and Kunlavut is the first men's singles badminton player from the Golden Temple Country to reach the world No. 1 ranking after reaching the final of the BWF World Tour Super 750 tournament.

Paetongtarn said the two have made all Thai people proud, through their efforts and determination to achieve these historic milestones. "The success of both of you will inspire Thai youth and Thai people in general," the prime minister said.

Suchata won the title of Miss World 2025 on May 31, becoming the first Thai woman to win the crown in the history of the pageant. Previously, Suchata Chuangsri had the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Paetongtarn at the Government House after winning the 3rd runner-up prize at the 73rd Miss Universe 2024 contest in Mexico.

The Prime Minister praised her at the time, saying that Opal was creative, had positive energy, and that led to her success in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant.

This money is used to serve humanitarian activities throughout the one-year term.

During her time as a global ambassador for Beauty with a Purpose, Opal received an additional $1 million in cash to support charitable and personal development projects. In total, Opal received prizes worth more than $6.2 million, including cash and in-kind.

Opal Suchata Chuangsri was born in 2003, 1.8 m tall. Currently, she is a student of international relations at Thammasat University, and also takes on modeling work. With the dream of becoming an ambassador, Opal Suchata Chuangsri is also interested in psychology and anthropology.
