At the time the couple got together, Ms. Riit was 98 years old and Mr. Soeson was 43 years old.

"Elfriede Riit loves me and I have the same feelings for her," Mart shared.

They lived together until the old woman had to move into a nursing home in 2022 at the doctor's request because of her poor health.

Although the two cannot live together, Mart still has love for his older girlfriend. He often goes to the nursing home to visit Elfriede Riit, bringing her favorite dishes. Occasionally, the couple spends time going to concerts, movies, drinking coffee or seeing a doctor to monitor their health.
