The case of Thuy Anh being canceled by Hoa Tho Media Joint Stock Company, the producer of Turning Point, canceled the contract, and demanded compensation of 20 billion VND has become the focus of attention of filmmakers and audiences over the past time.

According to the latest content from the producer, this unit "accused" Thuy Anh of being unprofessional, violating the agreement, making it difficult for the crew. Meanwhile, the actor confirmed that there was no fault. She said that she had strictly followed the requirements of the script and film crew during the recording process.

From a legal perspective, the lawyer said that the Hoa Tho unit has the right to sue Thuy Anh in court, demanding monetary compensation if there is enough evidence to prove the actor's violation.

The source of the incident originated from the sharing of an account named C.V.Q.N. - a friend of actor Thuy Anh, on August 18. In the post, this person expressed frustration when the film crew of Turning Point neglected an actor who had an incident on the set but demanded a lawsuit in court.

"I am C., the person who drove Thuy Anh to have 6 stitches on her face at 7 o'clock. Thuy Anh was accidentally thrown in the face by the same actor, tearing a long line in the filming scene of your company's production. Instead of being responsible for this incident, you let the actors go to the stitching themselves, then rush out to demand litigation, and take each other to court if they are not in Phu Yen at 9 a.m. on August 20 to continue filming, instead of the afternoon," the C.V.Q.N. account wrote.

In addition, this person also posted an image that was believed to be the content of a working message between Thuy Anh and the film crew. In it, the actress said that she cut the wound on the morning of August 20 and then returned to the set, but the film crew did not agree.

A few days after the post of the C.V.Q.N. account, Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, director of Hoa Tho Media Joint Stock Company, affirmed that the above information was fabricated, many words showed signs of insulting, defaming her honor and dignity as well as the entire film crew. According to Ms. Thuy, the post also uses information and images that are confidential information that has been stipulated in the contract signed with actor Thuy Anh previously.

Ms. Thuy also said that she had terminated the contract, asking Thuy Anh to pay the fine, compensation for damages, and reimbursement within 7 days with a total amount of more than 20 billion VND.

Chu Quynh Bao Ngoc (Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association) Ho Chi Minh City) said that whether Hoa Tho company can terminate the contract, request fines for violations, and compensate actor Thuy Anh will depend on the terms clearly stipulated in the contract signed between the two parties.

"If the company provides sufficient evidence to prove the violations of actor Thuy Anh. And these violations lead to the termination of the contract, request for fines for violations, compensation agreed upon in the signed contract, Hoa Tho company has the right to initiate a lawsuit against this case to the competent court to request actor Thuy Anh to terminate the contract, pay fines for violations and compensation," the lawyer said.

For the total fine and compensation of more than 20 billion VND, Hoa Tho company must prove in detail and clearly the specific fine level in the signed contract and direct damage from the actor's violations, such as: fines, compensation from partners due to delays in filming, etc the revenues that should have been enjoyed if the film had been filmed on schedule, the costs incurred due to the extension of the filming period and other damages...

On the contrary, if the company cannot prove the violation of actor Thuy Anh and the damages, according to the provisions of the contract and the law, actor Thuy Anh may not have to pay fines and compensation.
