Le Hoang Phuong and Aunt Dung encountered complications, were sued by the sponsor for compensation of VND 10 billion, immediately spoke out clearly

On November 29, the media reported that TAND of Binh Thanh district received a petition about a dispute over a brand promotion contract between A. Aesthetic Hospital (abbreviated) - the host of Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 and the management company of Le Hoang Phuong.

In the lawsuit sent by A. Aesthetic Hospital to TAND in Binh Thanh district, they claim that there was a dispute between them and Le Hoang Phuong's management company about the brand promotion contract.

The aesthetic hospital said it signed a VND10 billion brand promotion contract with its parent company Le Hoang Phuong. After the Miss Peace Vietnam 2023 pageant, the winner becomes the hospital's ambassador for two years.

This hospital sued because it believed that Miss Le Hoang Phuong promoted the brand of the company operating in the same industry, seriously violating the legitimate rights and interests of the hospital recorded in the contract and annex signed between the parties.

Specifically, on 7/11, Dr. Chiem Quoc Thai posted an article with photos related to Le Hoang Phuong and was commented on below by the reigning Miss Grand Vietnam. For this reason, A. Aesthetic Hospital believes that Le Hoang Phuong is their brand ambassador, but there are comments promoting the brand for Dr. Chiem Quoc Thai.

Therefore, Aesthetic Hospital A. decided to sue Le Hoang Phuong's management company to TAND of Binh Thanh district, asking TAND of Binh Thanh district to announce the cancellation of the contract signed on March 17 between the parties, demanding compensation of VND 10 billion.

On 30/11, lawyer Nguyen Quoc Cuong, representative of Le Hoang Phuong's management company, sent a dispatch to the press, responding to the case of the cosmetic hospital suing the company for breach of contract, demanding compensation of VND 10 billion.

Regarding the aesthetic hospital's claim that Le Hoang Phuong's management company violated the brand promotion contract, Le Hoang Phuong's lawyer said that Dr. Chiem Quoc Thai's post (posted on November 7) used Le Hoang Phuong's image taken on July 29, when she was not enrolled in Miss Grand Vietnam 2023. The organizers are not Le Hoang Phuong's management company.

"This move comes from Dr. Chiem Quoc Thai and Le Hoang Phuong personally, not related to the management company. The fact that the host unit posted the incident on social networks and believed that the organizers violated the contract, requested to cancel the contract without any documents and evidence to prove it," said the representative of the organizers.

Lawyer Nguyen Quoc Cuong said that Le Hoang Phuong's management company had a meeting with the host to resolve the matter, but then the aesthetic hospital filed a lawsuit to TAND of Binh Thanh district demanding the cancellation of Contract No. 149/2023/HDQBTH/SV-2023, demanding compensation of VND 10 billion.

Contract No. 149/2023/BOĐQBTH/SV-2023 is a contract signed between the host and the managing company of Le Hoang Phuong. Accordingly, the image of the aesthetic hospital is promoted through the contest as the host of Miss Peace Vietnam 2023.

"During the implementation of Contract No. 149, the organizers comply with their rights and obligations, while respecting, listening and acknowledging the opinions of the host such as customers and strategic partners. In any case, the organizers expect the two parties to agree and negotiate to resolve problems," the lawyer responded.

According to the lawyer, the case file filed by MGV's host against Le Hoang Phuong's management company has not been accepted by the court in accordance with the law, merely a unilateral legal act of the cosmetic hospital.

"On 29/11, major newspapers reported that the cosmetic hospital sued Le Hoang Phuong's management company. Information about contract details quoted in the article has not been confirmed or responded to by Le Hoang Phuong and the management company before. The mention of the company's name in the article has also not been approved by the organizers," the lawyer explained.

Le Hoang Phuong's management company also said that the cosmetic hospital sent a lawsuit to the court to unilaterally terminate the contract but still use documents and images as rights in the Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 contest, especially images of Le Hoang Phuong and flowers, runner to post on social media.

"Based on the provisions of contract 149/2023/BOD/SV-2023, the organizers fully and effectively comply with the commitments of the parties and the law on the interests of the aesthetic hospital. Up to now, the organizers have not made any moves on terminating the contract with the aesthetic hospital," added a representative of Le Hoang Phuong's management company.
