KIEN overshadows ArrC member, makes an impression in Kbiz, is compared to Hanbin

Kien (Nguyen Trung Kien) is a member of ArrC, a newly debuted idol group that made a strong impression on the Kpop fan community in its first appearance in the international media. The Vietnamese idol is praised for his bright and friendly appearance.

Specifically, MHN Sports reported that the group ARrC held a showcase to introduce their first music product called AR^C at Blue Square in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of August 19.

At the event, member Kien introduced himself as coming from Vietnam. Kien (full name Nguyen Trung Kien) was born in 2004, has a bright appearance and is from Ninh Thuan. The male singer studied at Nguyen Trai High School. He is also the oldest member of the group. During the past time, Kien often interacted with fans in Vietnamese on social networking platforms. He used to be a TikToker, but deleted his account after becoming a Kpop trainee.

Korean media has given much praise to Kien's appearance. Osen newspaper, when posting Kien's photo at the event, commented that the male singer was cute and radiant on stage. At the press conference, Kien shared: "I was very surprised to see the news of ARrC's debut in some articles in Vietnam. We will work harder in the future."

ARrC consists of 7 members Choi Han, Doha, Hyunmin, Jibin, Kien, Riotto (right) and Ziwoo (left). This is the first boy band of Mystic Story Entertainment (a subsidiary of SM Entertainment). The group members come from Korea, Japan, Vietnam and Brazil. ARrC's title track S&S (Sour and Sweet) is an electric hip-hop and pop fusion.

The group name ArrC stands for Always Remember the real Connection.

During the event, the members greeted their global fans in different languages. The members said that as a multinational group, their strength is being able to communicate with global fans in different languages. Rioto and Kien greeted them in Japanese and Vietnamese, respectively, Hyunmin (right) spoke in English, and Ziwoo spoke in Portuguese.

Rioto said: "My sister is a huge fan of BTS so I kept following them and thought they were really cool. That's why I started dreaming of becoming an idol and then went to castings and finally got the chance to come to Korea."

Meanwhile, Kien also chose BTS as his role model. He shared: "I have loved Kpop since I was young. At that time, BTS and EXO were very famous. I practiced Kpop choreography with my friends whenever I had time. I dreamed of seeing my seniors and it was great when I passed the company's casting round."

In addition, fans look forward to interactions between Kien and Hanbin (Ngo Ngoc Hung), a member of the group Tempest and also a rare Vietnamese singer active in Kpop.

As one of the Vietnamese idols who are active in K-Pop, Hanbin Ngo Ngoc Hung not only makes his home audience proud of his talent and efforts but also loves the way he diligently spreads Vietnamese culture to the world. The trends of Vietnamese youth are thought to be difficult to reach Hanbin because he is always busy with his schedule and continuous activities in Korea, but Hung Bin (Hanbin's nickname) "catches trends" of all kinds that make Vietnamese fans laugh "breathlessly".

In recent days, TEMPEST has officially joined an application for fans and idols to interact. Since using it, Hanbin has been active, posting statuses and replying to random comments on fan posts. In a post by a Vietnamese fan containing a photo that "disparages" him, the male idol left a comment: "Remove it, the police officer, I'm telling the truth."

Many people believe that Hanbin has been "lurking" on social networking sites and has a good grasp of the trends and popular keywords in his home country. On TEMPEST's TikTok, the eldest brother Hanbin has often "followed" Vietnamese trends with the other members.

At TEMPEST's concert in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanbin also made fans "wow" because of his tie-breaking performance with the trendy saying "only children choose, adults choose everything".

Since working in the entertainment industry, Hanbin has always actively promoted the beauty of his homeland to international fans in many ways, from teaching members and fans to speak Vietnamese, introducing Vietnamese food, wearing traditional costumes...
