Lisa goes big, dyes her hair platinum, releases clip about new product, 12 seconds cause a storm

On the morning of August 14, Lisa released the MV teaser for her next solo music product, New Woman. Appearing in the new MV teaser New Woman with Blackpink member Rosalia - a Grammy-winning Spanish singer and songwriter.

The MV teaser is only 12 seconds long and does not reveal any melody like the previous "hints". However, the lyrics "I'm a new woman" arouse a lot of curiosity among viewers.

In the released MV teaser, Lisa revealed 3 brand new looks that stunned the online community. If her black hair is too familiar to fans, this time, Lisa went big by dyeing her hair platinum "white" and extremely cool. Many people even admitted that they couldn't recognize Lisa who was in love with the billionaire CEO with a series of extremely "hot" looks that were completely different from the previous ROCKSTAR.

Especially the moments appearing with Rosalía made people admire because of the investment in both the setting and outfit. This is considered an extremely promising signal when this product seems to be all-in instead of just using some simple "ready-made" settings like the previous solo product.

This is Lisa's second solo release since establishing her own label, Lloud. The singer said she plans to release her solo single, New Woman, on August 16.

Last week, Lisa teased the melody of her new song in a TikTok video. The striking concept photo released alongside the trailer showcased Lisa’s girl-crush image and Rosalia’s signature Spanish style. The idol sported curly hair and full-on lipstick.

In June, Lisa released the single Rockstar, which peaked at No. 70 on the Billboard H.ot 100 and No. 8 on Spotify's Global Top Songs chart. The single peaked at No. 4 and No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and Global charts, respectively.

The MV Rockstar was suspected of plagiarism when Gabriel Moses - a British director - said her product was similar to the MV FE!N that he filmed for American rapper Travis Scott.

Moses posted a clip that was allegedly copied from Lisa's MV, which was a scene where the camera continuously panned over Lisa and her dancers, similar to the scene where the children were wearing uniforms in the MV FE!N. Moses said that he sent Lisa an email for reference, he said no but they still did it.

Having established her own company, Lisa has been pushing her solo career. Initially, it was music projects, then she branched out into acting with a role in the HBO series The White Lotus. The singer said she auditioned for her first role herself.

Previously, Lisa also became the cover face of the September issue of Elle US magazine. The BlackPink member appeared impressively with her unique and liberal fashion style. Lisa wore an outfit from the Stella McCartney brand combined with jewelry from BVLGARI, of which she is the brand ambassador.

In a conversation with Elle, Lisa shared about her work and personal life recently. In response to fans' concerns about BlackPink disbanding when all members are going solo, Lisa spoke up to reassure them.

"Of course we will continue. Absolutely. We are so proud of BlackPink. I love BlackPink. Not only for the fans but also for ourselves," Lisa shared in English.
