Recently, BTS's Jungkook has just spoken out about being harassed by an extremist female fan at his home. He revealed that this woman broke in, causing serious insecurity. The story is sparking a fierce debate on social media.
These days, the global fan community cannot help but be shocked by Jungkook's (BTS) outrageous move. During a live broadcast to celebrate his birthday, the youngest brother of the world-famous music group publicly spoke out about a shocking incident: he was broken into his home by an extremist fan. The move quickly attracted public attention, sparking a heated debate about the line between endorsements and invasion of artists' privacy.
This is the first time Jungkook has shown such harshness and frustration on social media. He did not hesitate to give a stern warning: "I once said, don't come to my house. If you come, I'll lock you up. Everything is recorded as evidence, and you will be dragged away." He added: "If you enter my parking lot without my permission, you will be locked up until I open the door."
Specifically, during the live broadcast, Jungkook mentioned the incident of a fan breaking into his house. He said: "I watched everything through the surveillance cameras at home. When he heard the police coming, the intruder tried to run out through the underground parking lot but was eventually arrested." The story became even more astonishing when the male singer revealed about this woman's "confession": "She said she was my friend" . Yongsan police later confirmed that a South Korean woman in her 40s, identified as "A", was arrested for trespassing into Jungkook's private parking lot at around 11:20 p.m. and was arrested on the spot after the singer reported.
The fine line between love and aggression
In response to the intruder's unbelievable explanation, Jungkook made a weighty statement, clarifying the line between affection and wrongdoing. " ARMY is like family and friends to me, but I have to make it clear that it's one thing for you to support me, it's still wrong to do something wrong."
This is not the first time BTS members have had to speak out about this issue. Previously, Jungkook had repeatedly asked fans to stop sending food to their homes or following him to private places such as the gym. This behavior not only causes inconvenience but also poses a potential risk to personal security. In particular, being broken into a private home is not the first time it has happened. On June 11, shortly after Jungkook was discharged from the army, a Chinese woman in her 30s was found to have pressed the password on the front door of his house several times and was also arrested.
Harassment by rabid fans is a sore issue in the Korean entertainment industry. This incident once again underscores the alarming reality of the dark side of popularity. When the line between love and infringement is blurred, the artist's life is severely affected, not only physically but also mentally.
