According to the report, around 14:40 on August 12, a truck with control plate 81H-027.60 driven by driver Dinh Tien Binh (SN 1987, located in Nhon Hoa town, Chu Puh district, Gia Lai province) ran on Ho Chi Minh road, heading from Dak Lak province to Gia Lai province.

At Km1646 500 in Tao Chor village (Ia Hrú commune, Chu Puh district), the truck collided with passenger car BKS 81A-004.70 driven by Mr. Nguyen Tu Sinh (SN 1966, resident of Ia Kring ward, Pleiku city, Gia Lai province) and truck BKS 47C-263.06 driven by Mr. Nguyen Tan Xanh (SN 1984, resident of Pong Drang commune, Krong Búk, Dak Lak) at the wheel.

The accident caused 3 people in the car including striker Paollo, assistant Duong Minh Ninh and doctor Dao Tri of Hoang Anh Gia Lai club to die forever. The driver, Nguyen Tu Sinh, was injured and taken to the emergency room.

Initial verification results: Truck 81H-027.60, manufactured in 2022, expiration date until 2047, circulation date until May 24, 2025. Driver Dinh Tien Binh has no alcohol content, no signs of using mai thuy. Data from the truck's cruise monitoring device recorded that the vehicle speed at 14 hours 39 minutes 10 seconds was 55 km/h, 14 hours 39 minutes 30 seconds was 01 km/h, 14 hours 40 minutes 41 seconds was 0 km/h.

Passenger car 81A-004.70, manufactured in 2011, expires until March 9, 2024. Driver Nguyen Tu Sinh has no alcohol content (testing for mai thuy).

Truck 47C-263.06, manufactured in 2014, expired until 2039, circulating until January 30, 2024. Driver Nguyen Tan Xon had no alcohol content, no signs of using mai thuy. Data from the truck's cruise monitoring device recorded that the vehicle speed at 14 hours 32 minutes 36 seconds was 64 km/h, at 14 hours 32 minutes 52 seconds was 62 km/h, at 14 hours 51 minutes 44 seconds was 0 km/h.

Currently, the accident is still being investigated by the authorities as well as Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee. Family members of the victims have also been informed, especially with striker Paollo. Paollo was taken to the hospital and waited for family members from Brazil to fly to Vietnam to pick him up with his mother.
