Ms. Truong Thi D., 65 years old, from Ha Nam, taking care of her husband at the hospital, was frustrated when a case of illegal drug trading and use appeared in the hospital room. Subjects who come to buy drugs often pretend to be family members to take care of patients to carry out drug transactions. Regarding the fact that Nguyen Xuan Quy had renovated the hospital room into a place to serve the illegal use of drugs, hospital leaders refused to answer and said that more specific information would be provided later.
Based on the collected verification documents, the police agency implemented a plan to solve the case. On March 20, 2021, the police agency arrested 5 people, including:
Nguyen Xuan Quy (born 1983, residing in Van Dien town, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi).
Nguyen Van Ngoc (born 1974, residing in Hang Bot ward, Dong Da, Hanoi).
Nguyen Trung Nguyen (born 1983, residing in Van Phu commune, Thuong Tin, Hanoi).
Nguyen Cong Thuong (born 1986, residing in Tam Hiep commune, Thanh Tri, Hanoi).
Le Hoang Hai (born 1995, residing in Ba Dinh, Hanoi).
The subjects were arrested for the acts of buying, selling, possessing and organizing illegal drug use. Evidence seized more than 6kg of synthetic drugs.
During the investigation process to expand the case, the police agency arrested Nguyen Anh Vu (SN 1986, residing in Binh Vong village, Van Binh commune, Thuong Tin district). Vu is currently a Technician at the Department of Rehabilitation and Traditional Medicine at the Central Psychiatric Hospital I). Through a quick test, Nguyen Anh Vu was positive for drugs.
