Specifically, Mr. Vo Cong in Binh Minh town, Vinh Long province, said that his two children were born prematurely, so they only weighed 2.2 kg and 2.6 kg, respectively. Currently, the health of the mother and two girls is stable, but the woman is still weak, so she is temporarily monitored at the hospital. According to Mr. Cong, Binh Minh Town Medical Center requisitioned it into a field hospital. On August 27, this man went to Dong Thanh Commune Medical Station to apply for a license and used a motorbike to carry his wife 20 km to the Binh Tan District Medical Center for pregnancy check-ups.

The doctor diagnosed the expectant mother to give birth in mid-September. Mr. Cong drove his wife home. Later that night, the pregnant woman unexpectedly went into labor. The husband called an ambulance, asking for help. "The car didn't arrive in time, my wife gave birth at home," Mr. Cong said. It was at 0:00 on August 28. The two girls were just born with their umbilical cords intact, and an ambulance had just arrived.

Staff from Dong Binh Commune Health Station came to support. After the medical staff cleaned and cut the umbilical cord, the mother and two newborn babies were taken to the hospital by a volunteer ambulance of the Oriental Medicine Association of Binh Minh town. "To mark this anniversary, I named my two daughters Vo Ngoc Co Na and Vo Ngoc Co Vy," Cong said and thanked everyone for their support and help to the family. After the incident spread on social networks, everyone sent congratulations to Mr. Cong and his wife, and at the same time expressed interest in the special name of the two girls.

According to the line of events, in Ho Chi Minh City, there was also an incident of a pregnant woman giving birth on the sidewalk, which made people interested. Specifically, around 5:30 on August 29, Ms. TTHC (26 years old, living in Binh Tan district) was taken by her husband to give birth because of signs of labor.

When passing the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control checkpoint on Inter-zone 5-6, Binh Hung Hoa B ward (Binh Tan district), Ms. C. received the help of soldiers at the checkpoint. Comrade Nguyen Van Tinh (People's Police University) and a soldier named Do Vu Thang (working at Gia Dinh Regiment - Ho Chi Minh City Command) used vehicles to take Ms. C. to the emergency room.

However, when she passed the checkpoint not far, Ms. C. showed signs of giving birth. The male police officer and his comrades brought Ms. C. to the sidewalk and delivered her birth. A healthy b.aby boy was born. The mother and c.hild were called by the authorities to take an ambulance to the hospital.

In mid-August, in Soc Trang, a woman gave birth at a checkpoint. Specifically, on August 10, Ms. Huynh Thi Cam Hong, Secretary of My Xuyen District Union, Soc Trang province, went to the Covid-19 control point of Song Cai 1 hamlet, Tham Don commune, to give gifts of appreciation. Mr. Lam Chi Cuong (27 years old, Secretary of the hamlet union).

At dawn on the same day, a couple asked to cross the Cai River 1 because the wife went into labor and gave birth to a c.hild. While doing the medical declaration procedure, the woman suddenly had severe abdominal pain and her water broke. Due to his medical knowledge, Mr. Cuong helped pregnant women give birth to a b.aby boy. The mother and daughter were then picked up by an ambulance and taken to the hospital.

Mr. Tang Hoa Tam, Secretary of Tham Don Commune Union, said Mr. Cuong is a second-year student, majoring in medicine at Vo Truong Toan University (Hau Giang). Due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, this m.ale s.tudent returned to his hometown to study online. Facing the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, Mr. Cuong volunteered to join the epidemic prevention and control force.

At the same time, a similar case occurred in Binh Duong. Around 5:00 p.m. on August 5, pregnant woman Nguyen Thi Huynh Nhu alone went to an epidemic control point in An Thanh ward (Thuan An city, Binh Duong province) and said she had abdominal pain and needed to go to the hospital because she was about to give birth.

While waiting for a member of the staff to call a car, Huynh Nhu suddenly went into labor. At this time, Ms. Loan, a resident near the epidemic control point, and Nguyen Ngoc Y Nhi (born in 2003, volunteer) quickly came to help. After nearly an hour, Ms. Nhu successfully gave birth to a b.aby boy weighing 3.3 kg, both mother and c.hild's health was stable. An employee from a nearby clinic also came to help cut the b.aby's umbilical cord. After the ambulance arrived, Nhu's mother and daughter were quickly taken to a local hospital.

"At that time, the team on duty was all men, we were quite surprised and didn't know how to handle it. Fortunately, Ms. Loan and friend Nhi, volunteers on duty nearby, came to support", Mr. Tran Minh Quang, Secretary of An Thanh ward said. Mr. Quang further informed that Huynh Nhu lives alone, her husband and children are quarantined in the countryside.

Volunteering as a volunteer to support local anti-epidemic work for about a month now, right after completing the high school graduation exam, Y Nhi shared that this was one of the most memorable situations she faced.

"Fortunately at the epidemic control point, there is an alcohol-based sanitizer, I wash my hands constantly while supporting Ms. Nhu to ensure safety. This is the first time I encountered this situation, fortunately everything happened. went well, I'm very happy to help do meaningful work," Nhi shared.
