Dak Lak: Teacher uses electric wire to hit students, threatens to stuff rags into students and make them pay dearly

Regarding the case of a student being "physically impacted" that caused a stir on social networks, a teacher at Ly Tu Trong Primary School (Dak Lak) has been suspended from teaching. What did the insider say?

On the evening of February 27, the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Buon Ma Thuot City (Dak Lak) said that the unit had just reported to the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City about the case of a teacher using an electric wire to bea.t a student.

Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training of Buon Ma Thuot City received information on social networks about teachers at Ly Tu Trong Primary School abusing many students. After verification, the Department of Education and Training of Buon Ma Thuot City admitted that it had requested Ly Tu Trong Primary School to report the incident.

According to the report, teacher BTTX (homeroom teacher of class 5D, Ly Tu Trong Primary School) used a broken electric wire to hit students, used a blackboard eraser to threate.n students, and told students to prepare a crumpled piece of paper and put it in their mouths whenever they had to talk.

In response to the above incident, the leadership of Ly Trong Primary School has temporarily suspended Ms. X from teaching and working as the homeroom teacher of class 5D. At the same time, they have changed the teacher to continue managing class 5D. The school also asked this teacher to make a report of the incident and continue to verify and determine the level of violation to handle according to regulations.

At an urgent meeting between the school and 7 parents of class 5D, Ms. X. admitted to using a stripped copper wire instead of a ruler to bea.t the students; at the same time, she apologized to the parents and asked for their understanding and forgiveness...

The school then continued to meet directly with 12 parents and students of class 5D to listen to opinions from many sides. Among them, some students said that Ms. X. used an electric wire (with the copper core removed) to hit their calves and threatened to stuff a blackboard eraser into their mouths if they talked in class (the act of stuffing the eraser was not carried out).

Regarding the act of letting students hold scraps of paper in their mouths from the beginning to the end of class, Ms. Luong Thi Bich Nguyen - Principal of Ly Tu Trong Primary School, said that the act of letting students hold paper in their mouths does exist; however, it is not scraps of paper but student paper that the students brought with them.

According to Bao Ve Phap Luat newspaper, the information that Ms. X. forced students to crawl through a hole to go to the toilet is not accurate. Verification shows that in the classroom of class 5D, there is a separate toilet. However, the toilet was clogged, so the female teacher placed a cabinet to cover it to prevent students from going and asked them to go to the toilet outside. The psychology of students is that the more they cover it, the more they want to crawl in, and there is no way the teacher forced students to crawl through a hole to go to the toilet.

As for the information about water being passed from mouth to mouth, pullin.g hai.r back, Ms. X. confirmed that it did not happen. Meanwhile, the students could not answer clearly, therefore, the school could not conclude and verify the incident.

Previously, a social media account posted information and images claiming that a 5th grade teacher (in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province) had "physically impacted" and tortured many students in the class. According to the posted content, she was heartbroken and could not believe that in today's society, a teacher could use an electric wire to bea.t her own chil.d.

Not stopping there, the teacher also used towels to stuff down the students' throats, forced them to crawl through holes to go to the toilet, held scraps of paper in their mouths from the beginning of class until the end of class, let them hold water from one friend's mouth to another, grabbed their hair and pulled them back to put a blackboard eraser in their mouths... According to the posted information, the incident happened a long time ago but the students did not dare to speak out because the teacher threatened that if they spoke out, they would be held back in the same grade.
