At the quarterly press conference of the Ministry of Public Security, Colonel Nguyen Duc Long, Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police, officially informed about rumors related to the Antex virtual currency project that is said to be related to businessman Nguyen Hoa Binh (Shark Binh).

Recently, social networks have appeared a lot of viral information about some people investing in the Antex project losing money, including some people who think that the project is related to Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh – Chairman of NextTech Group. In the face of the rapid spread of this information, the authorities have entered the verification to clarify the authenticity.

Colonel Nguyen Duc Long said: "After grasping the reflected information, the Investigating Police Agency of Hanoi City Police has directed professional units to conduct investigation and verification. Through review, the Department of Cyber Security and High-tech Crime Prevention (PA05) received a report from Mr. K. in Ninh Binh, reflecting the misappropriation of about 2,000 USD related to Antex virtual currency.

The representative of the Hanoi Police affirmed: "All people who have complaints will be received and dealt with in accordance with the law, in the spirit of no exceptions, no prohibited areas."

This statement shows the clear view of the police in handling all cases transparently and fairly, especially allegations related to financial investment activities, cryptocurrencies – a field that has many potential risks and is easily taken advantage of for profit.

Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh, born in 1981 in Hanoi, is known as one of the pioneering entrepreneurs in the field of technology in Vietnam. He is currently the Chairman of NextTech Group, which is known as the "Alibaba of Vietnam" thanks to its vast ecosystem of operations in fintech (financial technology), e-commerce, logistics and technology services.

Mr. Binh graduated in Information Technology, and received a Master's degree in Urban Informatics in Japan. Thanks to his vision and creative business strategy, Shark Binh has become one of the typical faces of the Vietnamese startup world. However, in recent times, Shark Binh has been involved in controversies related to a cryptocurrency project called Antex. Some social media accounts suggest that he is involved in promoting or sponsoring this project. However, Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh has repeatedly denied it, affirming that he is not directly involved in investing or operating any virtual currency projects, and the information spread is fabricated and false.
