"Blackpink's sister" BABYMONSTER flop in Vietnam, the concert is not ticketed, has the possibility of canceling the show?

In about a month, the concert of BABYMONSTER - the "younger sister group of BLACKPINK" will take place in Vietnam on May 31. However, right now, the event is constantly becoming the center of controversy in the online community with the decisions of the organizers.
Most recently, at noon on April 19, the Organizing Committee announced a 30.4% reduction in concert ticket prices from 12:00 on April 21 to the end of May 4 to celebrate the jubilant atmosphere of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day. This seemed to be supported by the majority of BABYMONSTER fans, but in reality, it received the opposite reaction.
The reason why many audiences reacted negatively to the BTC's announcement of a ticket price reduction was largely due to the unfairness it caused to the majority of fans who had bought tickets on the previous opening day.
More specifically, audiences who bought tickets on the first day of sale not only bought tickets at the original price but also had to pay a "membership" fee for the BABYMONSTER group on the Weverse platform (about more than 500,000 VND).
In addition, the change from all standing tickets to all seated tickets also caused a lot of dissatisfaction among the audience who paid for membership. Because the standing ticket class will force the audience who bought tickets to have a low queue (number) to "stick to the fence". Therefore, many fans are willing to spend mone.y to buy additional memberships or hire people to "camp" tickets (hunt for tickets) to get a good number. However, the sudden change to all seated tickets will make it difficult for ticket buyers to know where they will sit, whether they are close to the stage or not.
Therefore, the 30.4% ticket price reduction was like the last straw, making the majority of fans who had already bought tickets unhappy. Many people were upset and asked for a refund as well as forcing the organizers to clearly speak up about the decision to reduce the price midway. Not only that, the audience who had already bought tickets also asked the organizers to have more special benefits such as soundcheck, send-off or queue numbers instead of random seats.
The Hello Monsters concert is the first time BABYMONSTER will set foot in Vietnam and the first time fans of this group will see their idols in their home country. Therefore, right from the announcement of the concert in Ho Chi Minh City, many fans were excited and bought tickets right from the first time they went on sale.
The decision of the Organizing Committee to reduce ticket prices on the occasion of a major national holiday, if it had taken place at a time when concert tickets had not yet been on sale, would certainly have received a lot of support from the audience. However, this tactless and insensitive action has caused the Organizing Committee to receive mixed reactions.
Many people hope that the crew will listen to opinions and promptly supplement benefits for audiences who have purchased tickets in advance so that the concert can take place more properly and there will be no more controversy, causing loss of reputation in the eyes of international friends.
Despite possessing beauty and talent, the group Bab.y Monster still lacks songs that help the group stand out and become globally famous like their seniors Blackpink.
Bab.y Monster members were once expected to be YG Entertainment's "lifesaver" when Blackpink members did not renew their individual contracts. Yang Hyun Suk - the creator of Blackpink - also put a lot of effort into Bab.y Monster. However, in the early days of their debut, the absence of "trump card" Ahyeon along with the song "Batter up" which was considered similar to Blackpink's music caused Bab.y Monster to receive a lot of criticism. Bab.y Monster's failure in the early days was implicitly confirmed by the management company itself by postponing the debut date after Ahyeon officially returned.
Obviously, being trained at the top entertainment company in Korea is enough to prove the reality of Bab.y Monster members. The members all possess powerful vocals, good performance style and uniform appearance, which is what makes Bab.y Monster score points and increase recognition.
Until the group's song "Forever" was released, many audiences felt disappointed because the song was quite old. Many people expressed dissatisfaction with YG's choice of music, which was wasting the members' talents. Among the songs that have been released, "Like that" - the song Charlie Puth dedicated to the group - is considered to have the catchiest and most unique melody. However, YG did not pay much attention to investing in this song, even promoting it only on a music program.
Previously, "Boombayah" - Blackpink's first song composed by Teddy immediately stormed the music charts, became a trend on social networks and immediately made Blackpink the most popular gir.l group at that time. Until later songs such as "Ddu-du Ddu-du", "Kil.l This Love", "How You Like That", "Pink Venom"... all caused a fever and contributed to making Blackpink famous worldwide. This is also what Bab.y Monster lacks to shine even more.
Beauty and talent are undeniable in Bab.y Monster, especially when all members are highly appreciated. Really good and impressive songs will help the group affirm their name and become more successful in the future.
