THE K-SHOWTIME 2025 is considered a miniature SMTOWN Concert because it brings together the company's famous stars including U-Know Yunho (DBSK), Taeyeon ( SNSD ), Key (SHINee) and Irene & Seulgi (Red Velvet).
For the first time, three generations of Kpop will gather on one stage in Vietnam, stirring up the end of summer atmosphere with explosive performances and connecting directly with Vietnamese audiences. The event is scheduled to take place on August 30 at Van Phuc City. On August 29, the SMTOWN stars gradually landed at Tan Son Nhat airport, ready to meet Vietnamese fans tomorrow.

The organizers announced many different ticket prices: GA-2 general price 1.2 million VND (including physical ticket and random poster card), GA-1 and CAT 2 are both at 2.5 million VND, CAT 1 price 3.5 million VND, Fanzone 2 price 3.8 million VND, Fanzone 1 is 4.8 million VND. The highest ticket class - SVIP - is priced at 6 million VND with a position close to the stage.
After nearly a month of sales, only the 1.2 million VND ticket category sold out, while some 2.5 million VND areas recorded stable sales. Meanwhile, the remaining segments were consumed quite slowly, although the organizers applied many continuous discount programs.
According to observers, the situation of "sold out tickets" is not uncommon in Kpop music festivals in Vietnam in recent years. Some shows have had to be canceled or changed in scale due to lack of audience. In contrast, smaller-scale concerts such as those of Baekhyun (EXO), Park Bom (2NE1) or Super Junior easily filled the stage.
This shows the differentiation in the needs of Vietnamese audiences. Shows with artists who have been with the market for a long time often attract more attention, while large-scale music festivals with many participating groups but few prominent names have difficulty competing for tickets. In addition, high prices are also a significant barrier, when the entertainment spending of most young audiences is still limited.
Many opinions say that organizers need to carefully research the market, consider reasonable prices and choose suitable artists instead of expecting the "Kpop convention" effect. Because not every successful model abroad can be easily applied in Vietnam.
