Initial information, the fire occurred at about 6:45 pm on June 10 at a fruit stall on Dien Hong Street, Ward 1, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City. The house is located next to the fish and vegetable sales area of Ba Chieu market.

At that time, the small traders suddenly discovered that there was a fire from the house, so they shouted to put out the fire and called the functional force. People in the house also quickly ran outside.

A witness said, in the area outside, people saw the fire and shouted, some ran away, causing chaos.

Receiving the news, the firefighting and rescue force of Binh Thanh District Police sent three fire trucks and many officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.

A few minutes later, the fire was completely extinguished. No one was injured in the fire, but some property was damaged.

Also today (June 10), the town of Dam Ha, Dam Ha district, Quang Ninh province also had a fire that killed one person.

According to initial information, at about 2 o'clock on June 10, at the 4-storey house number 24, Le Luong street, Dam Ha town, Dam Ha district suddenly caught fire. At the time of the incident, there were 3 people trapped in the house, including Mr. Mai Van Toan, his wife, Mrs. Chu Thi Viet (both 57 years old) and their son.

Notably, the house that burned was a grocery business, including blankets and pillows and many flammable items, causing the fire to spread quickly from 1 to 4.

Receiving information about the incident, Dam Ha Police mobilized 2 fire engines and 30 officers and soldiers present at the scene to deploy rescue measures. Rescuers used a ladder truck to bring Mr. Mai Van Toan and his son out. However, when the rescue police approached the 4th floor, they found that Ms. Toan had died from asphyxiation.

By about 5 o'clock on the same day, the fire was under control, property damage was estimated at about 2 billion VND. Right in the morning of June 10, the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Investigation Agency sealed off the scene and investigated the cause of the fire.
