In this big fake gasoline project, so far the police have arrested more than 40 people, of which the leader is identified as Phan Thanh Huu (64 years old, living in Ho Chi Minh City). Through screening and consolidating records, the Investigation Police Agency prosecuted 33 defendants out of a total of 37 arrested.
