Sharing on Vlog, a resident of Dong Ky village said, "This grave has been there for a long time, hundreds of years or so. After people straightened the road, the grave remained there. Previously, the authorities at all levels also campaigned to relocate it, but the family was superstitious - related to spiritual issues, so they did not agree. Previously, many other graves were also relocated, only this grave remained here. After many years, the grave is still there and cars can still move through.

Many people here said that this place used to be a cemetery and rice field. When the inter-commune concrete road had not been widened to a straight line like this, from the main national highway to the craft village, people had to take a detour. At that time, this grave was located on the side of the road. However, when implementing the policy of building new rural roads, the grave naturally ended up in the "corner" position as it is today.

It is known that this is the ancestral tomb of the Nguyen family, headed by Mr. Nguyen Van Du. Every year, when it comes to the tomb-sweeping ceremony, the descendants of the Nguyen family gather here to "meet" their ancestors once. And every month, on the first and fifteenth day of the lunar month, someone from this family comes out to burn incense and clean up the small bushes around it. This tomb used to be a mound of dirt, then it was surrounded by bricks. However, as people walked around more and more, the bricks broke. A few years ago, the people of this family rebuilt it to be more solid.

Spiritual Stories Rumored and True

According to information in the press, for a long time, people have been spreading strange and ghostly stories related to this special tomb. For example, there was a construction unit that was building a road, when they reached the section near the tomb, they encountered many strange things, the machinery stopped working; the story of an old man wearing a turban and white silk shirt came back in a dream to "warn" a member of the group that if they continued, their whole family would be punished... or a local family held a wedding and covered the tomb with a tarp, then that night, a nearby resident dreamed of an old woman coming to ask for a place to sleep, suspicious that the procession was making noise... And some newspapers went deeper into the story, contributing to increasing its mystery and sacredness.

However, many long-time residents later confirmed that the above stories were not true. And the clearest proof is that hundreds of people have been living and doing business along the road where the ancient tomb is located. Even children freely run and play along both sides of the road without fear or hesitation.
