Specifically, at Point a, Clause 1, Article 12 of Decree 117/2020/ND-CP, a fine of between VND 01 million and VND 03 million is imposed for failure to take personal protection measures against participants. anti-epidemic and people at risk of disease according to the guidance of health authorities.
Decree 117/2020/ND-CP takes effect from November 15, 2020, however, according to the provisions of Point a, Clause 2, Article 115 of Decree 117/2020, the above sanctioning regulations take effect from the date of this Decree. signed for promulgation (ie September 28, 2020).
Thus, from September 28, 2020, the act of not wearing a mask in public when required to prevent the epidemic, can be fined up to VND 03 million.
