XG: The first Japanese g.irl group in Kpop, LE SSERAFIM's formidable rival, NewJeans

After each new music release, no g.irl group has made waves like XG. For those who don't know, XG stands for " Xtraordinary Girls". Over the past time, the group has stirred up the music industry.

XG is the first full-fledged group to debut under the entertainment company XGALX (YG Entertainment & Avex Group). The group debuted with a lineup of 7 members with Japanese nationality including: Jurin, Chisa, Hinata, Juria, Cocona, Maya and Harvey.

An A-list star in Vietnam openly expressed his affection for XG. Specifically, Ho Ngoc Ha shared XG's latest MV titled "Woke Up" with positive comments: "Is there anyone who is addicted to this group like Ha? Youth is too talented. A future is too bright."

Member Information

Jurin is the first XG member revealed by the management company on January 29, 2022. She takes on the position of main dancer, rap lead, and is also the leader of the group. The female idol participated in the process of composing choreography for XG. She is fluent in English, Japanese, and Korean.

Jurin was a professional skier and won many awards, including fourth place in the 32nd All Japan Skiing Championships of the Aomori Ski and Snowboard Association (TSBA&KSBA). However, Jurin also has a hobby of singing and dancing since childhood, and at the same time cherishes the dream of becoming a model.

At the age of 15, Jurin realized her dream of becoming a model when she appeared in Drop Tokyo magazines, Popteen... She also participates in the Avex Artist Academy. In 2017, Jurin became a member of the band Shorty! was established to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Avex Dance Nation. Chisa was born in 2002 in Osaka (Japan). She is the eldest sister and the main vocalist of the group. Before becoming an idol, she worked as a model. In 2016, the female idol reached the semi-finals of the Tokyo Girls Audition and joined AVEX. Sharing with Japanese media, the female idol said that Namie Amuro is the reason why she is determined to become a singer.
