Specifically, this is a type of dating café with the form of " blind date". Guests coming to the restaurant will be divided into 2 rooms: male in black room and female in white room. The two parties will not see each other and have 5 minutes of conversation to decide whether to "pair" or not. However, some netizens have posted articles that "expose" the truth behind it.

According to the post, the glass shield between the 2 rooms is actually one-way glass (according to the image posted by the shop), while in the next room, where the male guests sit, they will completely see the opposite person.

Not only that, the seat of the women's room is a high chair and the men's room is a lower chair. This leads to the problem that female guests are comfortable acting without knowing they are being seen, so just loopholes can reveal sensitive images.

Also in the "exposed" articles that many netizens shared, in order to attract female customers, this café often posts on student groups, looking for jobs or learning foreign languages with recommendations such as "free water", "have the opportunity to communicate with foreigners", etc earn income from "leading foreign tourists"...

Many people suspect that female customers coming to this café do not know about the two-way mirror as well as being observed and chosen by male customers. In contrast, for male guests, this shop focuses on groups of visitors from Japan, Korea, and China.

Some review clips in Korean or Chinese emphasize the "magic mirror", the room for male guests, the observation and selection of women. These clips and posts appeared from the end of May with phrases such as "find sugar daddy/sugar baby", "college girl", "Vietnamese wife" ... has garnered nearly 300,000 views.

Currently, under public pressure, some clips and promotional content for this coffee model on the café's accounts have been hidden. However, public opinion is extremely angry and calls for a boycott of this form of coffee.

After being criticized, the shop has now shut down its social media sites. Lina, the café's manager, insisted it was "still open as normal because it did nothing against the law" and only shut down its websites because of customer image issues, not protests.

"We created this model to give male friends the right to actively pair, agree or not is the right of female friends. I think the model is too new and the interior and design are misleading and sensitive," the manager asserted

When asked if 100 percent of customers, especially female ones, were informed of the existence of the mirror and observation room before entering the restaurant, the manager admitted that "sometimes employees forget."
