The case of husband vs. wife: Tricks caused by jealousy, what punishment is appropriate?

On the morning of September 4, Binh Duong General Hospital said that she was still actively treating Ms. N.T.L (39 years old), this is a woman who was electrocuted by her husband in a sensitive area, in Khanh Binh ward, Tan Uyen town, Binh Duong province.

Mrs. L. is more conscious but still in intensive care, and outsiders have not been visited. According to Ms. K.X., Ms. L.'s sister, after being beaten by her husband, Ms. L. was assisted by residents to take her to the emergency room in an unaware condition because her injuries were too severe.

Ms. N.T.L. was admitted to the emergency hospital on September 2, with multiple injuries: Penetrating wound to the chest and abdomen, perforated spleen, perforated colon, perforated diaphragm, torn wall of small intestine.

In addition, the patient suffered wounds on the thighs, hands, wounds in sensitive areas . The doctor diagnosed the above wounds as caused by stab wounds. At the time of the incident, the 2-year-old child sleeping with his mother was also electrocuted, thankfully mildly.

"This morning, the doctor announced that my sister had damage to her liver, spleen, intestines.... There were more than 10 wounds on the body, the most severe being the thigh," K.X said.

According to Binh Duong General Hospital, by this morning, the patient was breathing through his nose, contactable, and more alert.

According to the patient's family, N.T.L. remains in intensive care. By this morning, she had regained consciousness, her family members had not been allowed to enter the care, only when she needed to be cleaned to take care of her.

"My health has recovered somewhat, I have said a few words about being attacked by my husband. It's like it's too warm to say something like that," N.T.L's family member said.

Ms. K.X is currently on duty at the hospital, while 2 young children of Mrs. L. and her husband are being cared for by Ms. L.'s biological mother in the motel room.

Regarding the information that the victim worked as a worker in a wood company, a representative of the Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor said that it would review to find support options.

Earlier, in the early morning of September 2, the police of Khanh Binh ward, Tan Uyen city, Binh Duong province received a report of an incident of "intentionally causing injury" that occurred at the hostel in Group 7, Long Binh neighborhood. The victim is Ms. N.T.L (39 years old, An Giang village).

The suspect in the incident is the husband of the victim named Ho Van Tri (born in 1972, An Giang village, temporarily staying in a motel room in Khanh Binh ward, Tan Uyen town, Binh Duong).

Initially, at around 2 a.m. on Sept. 2, Tri and L and their two young children went to sleep in the motel room. While talking before bed about money and family activities, the two had a conflict.

Tri also mentioned another man's name and became jealous, suspecting his wife had a man outside.

The two continued to argue. Frustrated, Tri took the power cord plugged into an electrical outlet and pricked Mrs. L, but then there was a short circuit, the wire splashed out. The subject continued to take the d.ao about 30cm in the kitchen and then stabbed the woman's abdomen and sensitive area multiple times.

Hearing his mother screaming, his eldest son ran down to the compartment, opening the door for his mother to get out. Seeing that Ms. L was injured, neighbors rushed her to Binh Duong General Hospital.

Currently, the police have urgently arrested Ho Van Tri to investigate the abuse and abuse of his wife.

Contacting the victim's family, it was known that Ms. L and her husband have 1 daughter and 1 son. Both were young. Ms. L's husband worked as a security guard for a supermarket in Tan Uyen City, and Ms. L applied for a job as a wood company worker.

Mrs. L's family situation is very difficult, lacking money for treatment. Currently, 2 children are only in the motel room, while the seriously injured mother is in the hospital, the father is arrested.
