Talking about the moment he realized his love for Cai Liang, Xiao Minh Phung shared, "That was when I was about 4 or 5 years old, and I knew how to talk. Back then, we had a third CD that we used to open to listen to reform. My father recounted that, that day I suddenly picked up the cane and sang, and the first song I sang was Vong kim lang. Although I am illiterate, I sing to the beat, without dropping anywhere. After that, every time I followed my dad to a wedding, he finished singing, and I would ask him to let me sing."

Later, when he finished high school, Xiao Minh Phong's aspiration was to take the film theater university exam to study reform and acting, but because he could not update the information in the countryside, the young man could not register on time. At that time, Tieu Minh Phung "sent a large application to Saigon University majoring in Tourism".

It is known that he lacks the affection of his mother, lives in the love, care and expectations of his father and youngest aunt. So Xiao Mingfeng patiently studied to get a university degree. The moment that made him end that hard time to pursue his passion for art came when he was in his fourth year of college, when he had just finished a 15-day internship trip, 8 months from graduation.

Because his hometown is not close to the city center, the actor born in 1997 had difficulty fulfilling his dream when he entered the University of Theater and Film to study reform and acting. Missed the appointment, he sent a big application to Saigon University majoring in tourism. It wasn't until the fourth year when he finished his 15-day internship, 8 months away from his graduation deadline, that career grace came to him.

He had the opportunity to meet artist Le Giang, was helped by her, sent to study artists Minh Nhi, Thanh Thuy, Quoc Thao ... From her burning passion and guidance from her aunt, artist Le Giang, Tieu Minh Phung has oriented herself into acting.
