The bank robbery was very daring. According to the security camera recorded, the male subject with a backpack, a cap, a mask and used a military gun rushed into the counter area to threaten bank employees to rob money. Initially, this subject pointed a gun at a female employee sitting in a counter to threaten, then used the gun to shoot at the ceiling to threaten and rob money. At this time, the subject had not yet robbed the money, so he went to the next counter and continued to threaten the female employee with a gun to rob the money. In front of the robber's threatening gun, the female employee had to take money at the transaction desk, at the money trays below the counter to deliver to the subject. Subject filled his backpack with money and zipped it up before leaving the counter.

At that time, the female banker still did not know that the robber had left and continued to take money from the bottom of the drawer to the top. After robbing a large amount of money in the counter, this subject went out, threatened a security guard and robbed a bank guard's motorbike as a means of escape. According to the security camera, at the time the subject rushed to rob the bank, there were many female employees at some transaction counters and security guards in this area.

The security guard was also threatened by the gunman. However, this security guard managed to get out of the transaction room before the subject robbed the money and left the transaction room. Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, security guard at Vietcombank Dinh Vu transaction office, said that at this time, there were 3 guards (1 person inside and 2 outside) on duty. A few minutes later, someone reported that an object threatened the teller to steal money. "I looked into the transaction room, saw the robber with a gun-like object threatening the teller to steal money. Not long after that, this guy went to the door to threaten another security, then stole the old Jupiter to escape." Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa said.

A police officer of Hai An district informed that, after a moment of seclusion, the security guard of the transaction office used a motorbike to chase the robber from this area to the embankment area in Trang Cat ward, but he lost track. . Initially, the police agency determined that the robber had robbed several billion dong from this transaction office. The motorcycle used by the robbers to escape has been recovered by the police.
