The Korean Business Research Institute has just announced the January 2025 brand reputation rankings for members of Kpop gir.l groups.
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 712 K-pop gir.l group members, using data from December 19, 2024 to January 19, 2025.
Blackpink's Rosé continues to dominate the top spot for the third consecutive month, with an overwhelming score of 11,082,958 points. High-ranking phrases in Rosé's keyword analysis include "APT.", "Billboard," and "single chart."
The highest-ranking related terms included âclimb back up,â ârecord,â and âsoar.â Roséâs positivity-negativity analysis showed 92.83 percent positive reactions. Meanwhile, aespaâs Karina retained her second place this month, with a brand reputation index of 6,262,500.
IVE's Jang Won Young maintained her third place with a score of 6,067,563 points. Blackpink's Jennie ranked fourth with a brand reputation index of 5,036,304 points in January.
Finally, ITZY's Yuna rose to fifth place, after seeing a staggering 143.77% increase in her score from last month, bringing her total score for January 2025 to 4,025,897.
On January 14, on the Korean forum Instiz, there was a heated discussion about a post with the topic "Rumors are spreading about Evan Mock and Rosé". The post was accompanied by several photos of what is believed to be BlackPink's Rosé being affectionate with Evan Mock - the male model who co-starred with her in the MV "Toxic Till The End" in Hawaii, earlier this year.
