Sister D. wrote: "Sleep well my princess, I'm sorry it's all because of you, I love you but can't do anything. Is it cold on the other side, I know you need me and so am I. Mom accepts to lose everything but can't accept losing you. Mom's little angel. How can I get over this, how do I live with my mother alone?"
Since her daughter's death, the young mother's personal page has been updated with sad status lines. She wrote: "I haven't had time to hug for the last time, but I have not had time to kiss for the last time, but I have to leave my mother. Rest in peace. My mother's princess. According to information shared by a friend of Ms. D., her family is in a difficult situation, the young couple just got married in 2021 and welcomed their first princess in May 2022. However, due to family circumstances. so her husband D. was willing to leave his wife and children and went to Binh Duong to work as a hired worker. Currently, after hearing the bad news of her son, Ms. D.'s husband is trying to find a way to return home but still can't get to the place where the flood caused the landslide, making the way home even more difficult.
Sharing with the press, Ms. D. said that on the morning of October 2, floodwater suddenly came and rose rapidly, making her unable to react, and many houses nearby were also swept away. At that time, in her house, there was also a nephew who was studying in grade 5, although he tried his best to hold the 4-month-old baby, the flood water was so strong that he was swept away. The 5th grader was also swept away, but luckily he got caught in a green tree so he survived.
After the impact of Typhoon Noru (typhoon No. 4), many localities in the central provinces still suffered from prolonged heavy rain. After many consecutive days of heavy rain, at dawn on October 2, a terrible flash flood suddenly poured into some areas in Ta Ca commune, Tay Son, Muong Xen town... "The water flow was so terrible, I had to open the door so that the water could flow out to the back of the house. In just a moment, the house was flooded more than 1.5m. At that time, the whole family rushed to flee, unable to take away one of them. what," said one resident sadly. After the flood retreated back to the house, it was only a pile of rubble, everything was definitely unusable. The dense layer of mud and soil compacted on the floor can only wait for the functional forces to use machinery to scrape it out.
Chairman of the People's Committee of Ky Son district said that at this age he had witnessed flash floods many times but had never seen such a severe flood. Near 2 a.m. on October 2, when he saw the alarm playing on the loudspeaker, he quickly got up and put the electronics on high. However, the flood surged up to 1.5m, making all his efforts in vain. The flood caused 15 houses to be completely swept away, 100 houses were badly flooded, 19 houses were landslide; a series of cars, motorbikes and bicycles were washed away and buried under rocks. Not only that, many crops, livestock as well as vehicles: cars, motorbikes, bicycles,... were seriously damaged.
