Specifically, in a shared post, a customer said that his group of 7 people went to the restaurant but the owner did not accept money transfers and only sold high-priced meals.

Specifically, when talking between the customer and the restaurant owner, the owner shared: "During the storm and flood, people cannot transfer money. You guys who run the restaurant must sympathize with them. We don't lack money for food."

There was an argument between the two sides, the restaurant owner told the staff not to sell to the group of guests, then the group of 7 people also left. The poster was upset: "It's sad that a famous restaurant in Ha Long takes advantage of difficult days like this to increase prices... It's sad that I'm being looked down upon in my own homeland... Thinking back makes me sad."

Right below the post, netizens continuously left their frustrations and confusion about the way this famous restaurant works. Many people expressed their anger about having to endure similar situations when eating at Mrs. Lien's Clean Rice restaurant chain during stormy days, when the electricity was out, and they could not cook at home.

According to some regular customers of this restaurant chain, the prices of meals during the storm increased quite high. Meanwhile, some restaurants that were heavily damaged in storm No. 3 organized thousands of free meals for people.

Account Huy Anh commented: "Honestly, when I ate a meal, I was so shocked by the price. I took a lot of rice, but the food was small, and the restaurant charged 95,000 VND/meal. On another day, I took the same amount and it was only 60,000 VND/meal. I don't know how to pay. Since then, I haven't dared to step into this restaurant again."

Another account also commented on the way the restaurant charged: "3 people came in for lunch for 3 plates of rice, but the restaurant charged 600,000 VND. So scary! Since then, I have boycotted this restaurant and never come back again."

Speaking to the media, a representative of the Propaganda Department of the Ha Long City Party Committee said that the unit had assigned the Department of Culture - Information and the Ha Long City Police to investigate the above incident.
