The noise of the movie Ma Da is making Vietnamese cinema fans extremely confused. Although the story of Cam Ly and Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc being cut off from the show has been resolved peacefully by both sides, the wave of unreasonable criticism on social networks continues to occur.

In the past few days, the movie Ma Da was officially released. Although it was announced that the roles of two names, singer Cam Ly and Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc, were announced, when it reached the audience, the roles of both were only 2-3 minutes, while it was known that both spent 2 weeks traveling with the film crew. Many fans of both were upset, accusing the producers of deliberately trying to gain fame and promote themselves too much. Although the producers apologized and resolved the issue peacefully, netizens continued to make unreasonable statements online.

Accordingly, many extremists, who did not clearly see the problem, "quickly attacked" director Nhat Trung's personal page to criticize. Even comments praising the film were harshly suppressed and attacked by these elements. Before that, the male director also explained and publicly apologized for the act of cutting the broadcast.

He expressed: "I would like to confirm that the decision to adjust the film version is the production team's decision, not related to or influenced by any other individual or unit. I have met and talked with Mr. Thanh Loc and Ms. Cam Ly, as well as discussing further ways to resolve the problem so that all parties feel satisfied. Although this is late, on behalf of the team, I would like to send my sincere apologies to everyone."

In addition, he thanked the two artists who agreed to participate in the project when the crew met and sent the invitation. During the filming process, they always supported and helped the entire crew a lot. Nhat Trung and the crew will always remember those favors in their hearts.

As for Cam Ly, on the morning of August 18, the female singer also publicly shared the film's MV on her personal page. The action proves that the relationship between producer Ma Da and the female singer is extremely smooth, without any disagreements as rumored on social networks.

Some opinions also said that the movie Ma Da by director Nhat Trung is suspected of being manipulated by a third party. Because not only did Cam Ly's fans flood in to leave nasty comments, not to demand justice for their idol, but they also dragged in many more people, calling out Hoai Linh's name, even though the male comedian did not have a role in the movie. This is strangely confusing, showing serious toxicity, piling up negative things to make the movie lose points in the eyes of the public.

In March 2023, producer Nhat Trung launched the film Ma da with the main actress Viet Huong and the participation of Meritorious Artist Dieu Duc, Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc, and singer Cam Ly. During the film's promotional activities in Korea, Australia, and Vietnam in early August, artists Thanh Loc and Cam Ly were both absent.

According to the crew, this work reached the top 1 in Vietnamese horror film revenue on the first day of release with 11.34 billion VND. Director Nhat Trung clearly stated that he invited singer Cam Ly to participate in a role in the film Ma da, at the same time sing the theme song and film additional scenes for the MV. "At first, we planned to use the images in the MV in the film, so the filming time was quite long, but then it was cut due to editing the final version. Singer Cam Ly, 54 years old, gained attention when she sang with Dan Truong in the album "Neu hoat pha ngay mai" in the early 2000s. She gradually became famous with songs by Nguyen Nhat Huy: "Nguoi ve cuoi pho", "Bo ben la", "Thuong nho nguoi dang". Cam Ly was the first singer to perform free live shows for students in 2003 and 2004. She also recorded many albums of folk and lyrical music and was successful with the series of live shows "Tu tinh que huong". She and musician Minh Vy got married in 2004 and have two daughters.
