Every day I cried, looked for my child, carried my child, played with my child, ate, went in and out of that shack. That house became like my home so I couldn't get out of the role.

To the point that after filming, everyone said: "Let's burn that house down" so I would forget the setting, or leave behind anything bad. That house was rented by the film crew and built with bamboo and leaves.

Regarding spirituality during filming, Viet Huong said: "I believe in spirituality but I'm not afraid of ghosts. I just thought I did a good job, I made proper offerings, and asked permission to go to work. If there were real ghosts, people would feel sorry for me and help me instead of scaring me."

The actress said that after filming, her face was also deformed: "Soaking in water for a long time, the skin and flesh are not damaged but the water is absorbed, the cold penetrates into the bones. The cold air enters the body and affects the muscles. If the skin is itchy or bitten by insects, I apply medicine, but soaking in cold water causes hypothermia, affecting many other things.

Professionals soak for 6-8 hours, I soak for 12-13 hours a day. The 7th cranial nerve is not severed but it is contracted, causing facial deformity.

Not to mention, I also have the mentality of not wanting to delay the progress of my work because women will have their period. When I have my period, the film crew has to rest for at least 3 days. There are nearly a hundred people on the crew, so I keep worrying and praying "don't get sick, don't get sick"... and it doesn't happen.
