Comedian Viet Huong has fans worried about alarming health news, her face is deformed due to a contraction of the 7th cranial nerve, and she is depressed because of filming movies.

The movie "Ma da" with the participation of many artists such as: Viet Huong, Trung Dan, Dieu Duc, Thanh Loc, Cam Ly, Minh Khang, Da Chuc... will officially be released in theaters on August 16. In the movie, Viet Huong plays the role of a woman who works as a corpse collector on the river. It can be said that in her decades of acting career, this is the most difficult and painful role for Viet Huong.

Talking about the difficulties during filming, Viet Huong said: "The night I filmed the scene where I took a photo of a body underwater, I kept missing the shot. Everyone said: It probably won't work, Ms. Huong, go up, this place is not good. The next day, the crew found another stream to shoot and it would be fine. Everyone thought spiritually, but I thought the water was too strong so I missed the shot.

Then I was haunted by the character. A single woman raising a young daughter, poor and struggling. After a long time, sometimes I fell into a state of stress because I kept thinking of myself as Mrs. Le. The daily cycle of life was exactly the same. Every day I cried, looked for my child, carried my child, played with my child, ate, went in and out of that shack. That house became like my home so I couldn't get out of the role.

To the point that after filming, everyone said: "Let's burn that house down" so I would forget the setting, or leave behind anything bad. That house was rented by the film crew and built with bamboo and leaves.

Regarding spirituality during filming, Viet Huong said: "I believe in spirituality but I'm not afraid of ghosts. I just thought I did a good job, I made proper offerings, and asked permission to go to work. If there were real ghosts, people would feel sorry for me and help me instead of scaring me."

The actress said that after filming, her face was also deformed: "Soaking in water for a long time, the skin and flesh are not damaged but the water is absorbed, the cold penetrates into the bones. The cold air enters the body and affects the muscles. If the skin is itchy or bitten by insects, I apply medicine, but soaking in cold water causes hypothermia, affecting many other things.

Professionals soak for 6-8 hours, I soak for 12-13 hours a day. The 7th cranial nerve is not severed but it is contracted, causing facial deformity.

Not to mention, I also have the mentality of not wanting to delay the progress of my work because women will have their period. When I have my period, the film crew has to rest for at least 3 days. There are nearly a hundred people on the crew, so I keep worrying and praying "don't get sick, don't get sick"... and it doesn't happen.

But after the film crew finished filming, 3 months later I still hadn't had my "girl's day" again and had to seek medical help. Now I'm recovering."

Viet Huong is lucky to always have her husband Hoai Phuong by her side to encourage and take care of her. "Mr. Phuong is a husband who always stands behind Huong to support her completely, even in business. During the recent trip to Australia, he also went along to translate, talk and tell all the details to the producer in Australia. And the producer in Korea also wanted to meet me. He also supports her mentally, pampers her a lot because he sees her poor, sees her passionate about her job. Many times he says: "Honey, your knees hurt so much, please wear more slippers."

Viet Huong said that when she wanted to wear high heels to wear a beautiful ao dai, her husband asked her to choose an ao dai that could be worn with low heels. She said, "What ao dai can be worn with low heels?". Viet Huong confided that in general, with Hoai Phuong, she would still look good with a shaved head. She doesn't know what will happen in the future, but right now she is lucky to have such a companion."
