Singer Cam Ly, after 7 years of publicly announcing her health problems, lost her voice, making it difficult for her to sing. Now, her life with her husband and children has attracted many people's attention. It is known that she is living in a 3-storey villa in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

Cam Ly lost her voice in late 2017 due to sinusitis. The nasal discharge made her voice dull and low. At times, her throat was so hoarse that she could not sing out loud. She tried many treatments and many medications, but the condition did not improve. At that time, she thought that if her voice was no longer the same but she continued to perform, it meant that she was not respecting the audience. Therefore, she stopped accepting shows.

In 2018, she went to the US for sinus surgery and stayed for a month for treatment. Her voice gradually improved, recovering about 70-80%, but her tone was no longer as clear as before, singing with more nasal sounds. She accepted and chose songs that suited her current voice.

The female singer married musician Minh Vy in 2004. He was the owner of Kim Loi Studio - a famous entertainment company in Ho Chi Minh City in the 1990s-2000s. Cam Ly joined this center in 1996 and developed feelings for the male musician three years later. In 2004, they officially became a family. The female singer said: 'Neither of us confessed our love to the other first, we just came together. Music is the thread that binds our love together'.

For Cam Ly - Minh Vy, their married life cannot avoid moments of anger and arguments. However, the couple shares the same view that 'when one string is tight, the other string must be loose', thereby understanding and sharing all problems with their spouse.

Minh Vy has always accompanied and supported his wife in her artistic activities since the days they were in love until now. Although rumored to be the 'richest person in showbiz', Minh Vy denied it, saying that he and his wife have a normal life. Cam Ly currently lives with her husband and two daughters in a three-story, 200 m2 villa in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

However, Cam Ly wants her children to focus on studying at an international school and does not want them to pursue a singing career in the future.

The singer of "Far Away Husband" admitted that like many other mothers, she could not avoid feeling confused and having different opinions with her children when they were teenagers. Later, Cam Ly tried to become a friend who could listen and share with her children. On the contrary, her two daughters were closer to their father, which sometimes made Cam Ly feel jealous.

In recent years, Cam Ly has not sung but has been a judge and coached many contestants to ease her nostalgia for the profession. In her free time, she has created a YouTube channel, sharing videos of her daily life. She often goes bare-faced, wears pajamas, and is loved by the audience for her simple, unpretentious lifestyle.

Now that her throat has recovered, she is back to music. On August 3, she will return with the live show Tu Tinh Que Huong 6 in Ho Chi Minh City, celebrating 30 years of her career.
