In the past few days, public opinion on social networks has been stirred by the information that a female apartment resident in Hanoi was "affected" by a neighbor right in the corridor of the building, after posting a warning about the strange behavior of a young man.
According to the reflection, the person who posted the information is Ms. N.T.H., a resident of an apartment on Tran Huu Duc Street, Tu Liem Ward, Hanoi City. On social networks, Ms. H. said that the incident occurred at more than 8 p.m. on January 8 in the corridor of the building. Attached to the post is a clip of her being stopped by a group of people, behaving violently, causing many people to be angry and angry.
Sharing the cause of the incident, Ms. H. said that she had previously discovered that a young man living in the building had behaved indecently with women when taking the elevator. Not stopping there, this person also went to Ms. H.'s apartment many times, rang the bell and performed non-standard behaviors outside the iron door. These actions make her and her family, especially her young daughter, always in a state of anxiety and insecurity.
Concerned about the risk of affecting the safety of residents in the building, especially women and children, Ms. H. posted warning information in the group of apartment residents, and at the same time asked the building management to pay attention and take measures to prevent potentially dangerous behaviors. However, according to Ms. H., after the post appeared, the incident took a more serious turn.
Specifically, she said that some people who were believed to be relatives of the aforementioned young man stopped her in the apartment corridor and took action. In the clip shared, it can be seen that Ms. H. was surrounded by many people, talking back and forth and having an "impact" behavior right in the common area. "I had my head down constantly, so I couldn't see how many people were involved. I only know that they put their hands on the head, now it hurts everywhere they touch it," Ms. H. recounted.
After the incident, Ms. H. said that she had symptoms of headache, dizziness, chest pain and shortness of breath. However, because there were only two mothers and children in the house, she was worried that her little daughter was home alone, so she could not go to the doctor immediately that night. "Last night I panicked, I could hardly sleep. This morning I had to ask someone to take me to the hospital," Ms. H. shared. At the hospital, doctors prescribed CT scans and X-rays because she had pain in many areas of her head, left ear and upper body. Ms. H. was asked to be admitted to the hospital for monitoring because of suspected brain injury.
Not only this incident, Ms. H. said that the conflict between the young man's family and other residents has lasted for many years. Previously, this family had many clashes with households in the building, but because the corridor area did not have cameras, verification and handling were difficult. She said that many times the mother and daughter had to ask the security guard to take them to the door for fear of being watched. Ms. H. also revealed that she intends to sell the apartment from July 2025, but because of the high price of real estate in the area, she has not been able to move to a new house.
Regarding the incident, a representative of the Tu Liem Ward Police confirmed that the unit had received information and was verifying Ms. N.T.H.'s report about being "affected" by a group of people in the apartment corridor. Functional forces came to the hospital to exchange, record testimony and clarify Ms. H.'s health status as well as serve the investigation.
