However, we also studied international experience, with this group there is no common level of deterrence, especially artists who receive billions of advertising rates," said the Director General of the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information.

According to Mr. Le Quang Do Do, the Ministry of Information and Communications is submitting to the Government a decree to replace Decree 72, including regulations on speech activities in cyberspace.

It is expected that by mid-2024, this decree will be issued by the Government. The Ministry of Information and Communications will advise on increasing fines and additional penalties for violations in cyberspace to add deterrence.

"The Ministry of Information also coordinates with the Ministry of Culture to implement solutions to limit the appearance of artists on television and performances. This is still a new and sensitive form, so it is necessary to add instructions for subordinate units to have a basis to implement this regulation," said the Director General of the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information.

Mr. Do Do also emphasized that, for the Ministry of Information and Communications, there are no prohibited zones or exceptions.

Over the past time, the situation of artists making deviant and false statements on social media platforms has been reacted and criticized by the public.
