Therefore, the Miss Mekong Delta organization decided to stop working with Nam Em. A spokesperson for the unit also said it was not up to them to decide the issue of Nam Em's crown because she was crowned in 2015, and they signed a contract to hold it from 2022.

On March 1, Bui Huu Cuong - Nam Em's boyfriend manager, media representative - said that between her and the organizers of Miss Mekong Delta 2024, the contract has not been signed. Nam Em has not received a deposit to accompany this year's contest. Claiming that this unit has not asked for permission but arbitrarily uses Nam Em's image, the beauty side asked the contest organizers to apologize.

According to Huu Cuong, the price of receiving Nam Em's singing show must be from 100 million VND or more, some shows also receive up to 140 million. Particularly in Hai Phong and the North, there will be a little incentive in prices.
