On January 26, police chief Dompu continued to provide new information related to this shocking incident. He said:

"As for the woman in the clip, she received a positive result for SARS-CoV-2 yesterday (January 25). So we can't question this person yet. We will wait more. In a few days, when the conditions are right, we will conduct an investigation of the woman."

According to local media, the woman may have contracted Covid-19 after being close to the infected police officer. Meanwhile, the male lead will be investigated when he completes isolation and ensures he is no longer infected. In addition, the police took statements from two employees at Dompu hospital, who recorded the sensitive video and spread it online.

Police said they would ensure a thorough investigation, not letting the suspects slip through. The police chief said: "We are still conducting an extensive investigation into the incident. Because there may be new suspects involved, depending on the outcome of further investigation."

Before that, a nearly 2-minute clip of the couple recording the scene of them having sex on the hospital bed in the isolation room caused a stir in public opinion. Police have confiscated the original video for proper processing.
