Police said they would ensure a thorough investigation, not letting the suspects slip through. The police chief said: "We are still conducting an extensive investigation into the incident. Because there may be new suspects involved, depending on the outcome of further investigation."

Before that, a nearly 2-minute clip of the couple recording the scene of them having sex on the hospital bed in the isolation room caused a stir in public opinion. Police have confiscated the original video for proper processing.
