What surprised beauty fans was that runner-up Dao Hien was still in her term, when the Miss World Vietnam contest had not been organized for a new season by "beauty queen boss" Pham Kim Dung, since the year of Miss Y Nhi's coronation, with the top 3 being 1st runner-up Dao Hien and 2nd runner-up Huynh Minh Kien.

On the morning of March 13, the Northern preliminary round of the Miss Vietnam contest officially took place in Hanoi. This is the oldest beauty contest in our country, and is considered the "main palace" of Vietnam.
