Regarding the case of 4 flight attendants carrying banned substances from France to Vietnam. After searching the house and taking statements, it was reported that the hostess Tran Thi Thu Ngan is currently an important person in the case.
Currently, the investigating agency is holding criminally 4 flight attendants: Nguyen Thanh Thuy, 37 years old; Vo Tu Quynh; Tran Thi Thu Ngan and Dang Phuong Van. Information on Traffic Newspaper, working with functional forces, the flight attendants admitted that through a colleague who worked with the airline, they had received dozens of kilograms of toothpaste and brought it to Tan Son Nhat airport.
In particular, the role of the hostess Tran Thi Thu Ngan in the incident was determined to be important. Previously, this flight attendant was found to have 780 grams of gray tablets in her luggage. Also according to the testimonies of the flight attendants, the group has contact with clues in France and Vietnam to deliver and receive hand-carried goods back home with a salary of 10 million dong.
After that, the number of rows of toothpaste was divided among each carrier. When they arrived at Tan Son Nhat airport, they were discovered. The hostesses also provided numerous messages back and forth between the parties. Thereby, the police also summoned a person in Vietnam to act as a broker to bring goods from France to Ho Chi Minh City.
The number of banned substances distributed in the luggage of these 4 flight attendants is as follows:
In Vo Tu Quynh's luggage, there were 43 boxes of toothpaste with the words "Signal Expert White" printed on the outside. 31 of these boxes contain many gray tablets weighing about 2.18kg. The remaining 12 boxes contain white powder weighing about 1kg.
In Nguyen Thanh Thuy's luggage, there are also 43 boxes of toothpaste on the outside with the words "Signal Expert White", 31 boxes containing many gray tablets weighing about 2.18kg, 12 boxes containing white powder weighing about 1kg .
In Dang Phuong Van's luggage, there were 2,020 grams of gray tablets and 2,000 grams of white powder. In Tran Thi Thu Ngan's luggage, there were 780 grams of gray tablets.
Before the incident, in the past few days, there was a lot of unverified information on MXH. Not only did many flight attendants suddenly "spread" the images posted on social networks, but besides, there was also a lot of information that confused the public.
In it, there is information that 1 in 4 flight attendants, despite their young age, is now at a villa, driving a super luxury car, and has an account of 24 billion. Not only that, the news about Vo Tu Quynh - one of the four people arrested at the airport is of great interest to many people.
After the incident, there were many fake content taking advantage of this confusing situation to add fuel to the fire. Many fabricated information said that this hostess had an extremely terrible body. However, up to now, the police have never made an official statement and information about these flight attendants, therefore, this is information that lacks authenticity, has no basis to verify the truth. wrong.
Regarding the above incident, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Kim Van, former senior investigator of the Hanoi City Police, shared with Dan Tri a number of observations. According to Mr. Van, this is a serious case.
The former investigator said that the authorities will take many professional measures to identify the above flight attendants accidentally or intentionally transporting illegal drugs. "The testimonies of the flight attendants will be one of the fighting points of the functional forces. The inconsistencies in their statements, or possibly the contradictions between the testimonies of the four flight attendants, will be investigated by the authorities. exploitation," shared Mr. Van.
According to the colonel, the Vietnamese police may coordinate with other functional forces to identify the person who sent the goods, or give the flight attendants concealed toothpaste packages. Besides, checking the phone, text messages and comparing with the testimonies of the flight attendants will be able to prove their "perception" of what is in the toothpaste tubes.
"According to the initial public information, my assessment may be that one of the four flight attendants is the recipient of the goods. After that, she will divide and shred the goods for three colleagues to transport back to the country. This will be reflected in the testimonies of the flight attendants," said Colonel Van.
If this hypothesis happens, Mr. Van said that the key to determining whether the flight attendants are guilty or not will be whether they know in the package is a banned substance or not.
A key point that Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Kim Van thinks the investigation agency needs to clarify is the amount of "commission" that the flight attendants receive: "10 million dong is too small an amount for 4 flight attendants to exchange. to transport banned substances," said Mr. Van. At present, the case is still under investigation.
