At noon on January 30, the leader of the People's Committee of Ea Tieu commune, Cu Kuin district (Dak Lak) confirmed that a child in the area had just died due to a well falling. That is his grandson YK Enuol (3 years old, residing in Kram village).

According to initial information, around 7 a.m. on the same day, YK's grandson followed her to the garden. The grandmother focused on working in the garden, leaving her grandchildren to play alone. After a while (about 8:50 am), the grandmother could not find him, so she panicked and went to look for him. When she looked down at the well, she discovered her grandson's slippers and shirt, so she informed her relatives and authorities.

When receiving the news, the government of Ea Tieu commune and the commune police were present, and at the same time informed the Cu Kuin District Police. The functional forces took him out of the well at about 10:50 am of the same day, but he did not survive.

Currently, the commune authorities visit and encourage the family and provide support for the funeral of their grandson. The leader of Ea Tieu commune added that the well where the child fell was not properly covered.

Previously, in Cu Kuin district, there was also a well-falling incident. The man, while trapping birds, unfortunately fell into a 25m deep wild well. Four days later, the man was discovered, and rescuers pulled the man out of the well.

Also in Dak Lak, not long ago, the leader of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police said that the unit had successfully rescued a boy who fell into an abandoned well.

It is known that after receiving the news, the unit immediately mobilized special vehicles and 10 soldiers to go to the scene to save the baby.

According to initial information, before that, people discovered that NVDD (8 years old) had fallen into an abandoned well (at 80 Dinh Nup, Tan Lap ward, Buon Ma Thuot city). The boy's name is NVP (44 years old) who jumped into the well to save him. However, due to the deep well, both father and son were trapped under the well.

According to an officer of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, this well has a very small mouth area, which is difficult to access.

However, after seven minutes, officers and soldiers were able to bring the baby and the father out of the well.

Immediately after that, the unit reassured the child's family, encouraged the family, and asked people to cover the well to avoid a similar situation.

Cases of children or adults falling into an abandoned well have been increasing in recent times. Although currently the functional forces are always trying to check and try their best to cure, but miracles do not always happen.

The case of baby Hao Nam who fell into a 35m deep well earlier is the most obvious lesson for all of us.

After 21 days of efforts, the rescue force brought Hao Nam's body in Dong Thap to the ground and handed it over to his family.

After completing the forensic examination, the boy's body was handed over to the family for burial.

"We have brought the baby's body up intact. Although for a long time in conditions of soil surrounding the tube in a sealed tube, water pressure and in an airtight environment, the decomposition process takes place more slowly than in a bottle. Therefore, the baby is brought up intact, buried and buried according to the wishes of the family", said Mr. Doan Tan Buu, Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee.

"According to the investigation results of the investigative agency plus the forensic results at the scene, the initial assessment showed that the baby suffered multiple injuries due to the collision with the hard wall and fell into the water environment, leading to his death. This is the initial preliminary assessment of the cause of Hao Nam's death", Mr. Doan Tan Buu added.
