According to the authorities, on November 16, 2023, the Bac Giang City Police received a criminal complaint from Mr. Do Trung D., (in Dinh Ke Ward, Bac Giang City). Specifically, Mr. D. accused Le Chi Huong (33 years old, in Tan Yen district, Bac Giang province) of renting Mr. D.'s car from October 3, 2023 to November 16, 2023 but did not return the car even though it was overdue, and at the same time lost contact.
Through verification, on March 15, the Bac Giang City Police Investigation Agency prosecuted the accused against Le Chi Huong for the crime of appropriating property and proceeded to arrest the subject. Ms. Sa said that this car was lost in 2014 when she left it at her home. The Mo Duc District Police determined that the car bearing BKS 76G1-034.02 was stolen, then legalized the purchase and sale documents to carry out the procedures for transferring the name to another person. The district police working group coordinated with the Binh Dinh Provincial Police to verify, work with the car buyer and recall and return the motorcycle to Ms. Sa.
Receiving the motorbike lost 7 years ago, Ms. Nguyen Thi Sa was extremely surprised, and at the same time wrote a letter of thanks to the Mo Duc District Police Force.
"In 2014, the crime was stolen from a motorcycle BKS 76G1-034.02 at a private house. Since then, it has not been found. I thought I was really lost. Receiving the car, I am very happy and thank the Mo Duc District Police for finding the car for me," Ms. Sa wrote in the letter.
