The presiding judge of the trial said that there is still no official decision on the separation of the two lawsuits, so Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien's case against Ms. Dang Thuy Trang for compensation of 387.6 million for insulting behavior and Ms. Dang's case. Thuy Trang sued Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien for 2.4 billion (including 1.5 billion in old debt and 932 million in mental damages) to be heard on the same day.

However, after realizing that entering two cases at the same trial, the court has not yet conducted legal proceedings against Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien to sue Ms. Dang Thuy Trang, so let the case be resolved more quickly, Thuy Tien's side would like to withdraw the lawsuit. Thus, the court on May 31 only tried to sue Ms. Dang Thuy Trang against Thuy Tien about a debt of 1.5 billion VND in the past.

After more than half a day of trial, the Trial Panel considered that based on documents and evidences contained in the case file as well as the public argument at the trial, there were grounds to determine Ms. Thuy Trang is inconsistent. Therefore, the Trial Panel refused to accept Ms. Dang Thuy Trang's request to force Ms. Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien to pay 1.5 billion dong.
