On the morning of May 31, the People's Court of Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City officially reopened the first-instance hearing for the civil case of a dispute over compensation for non-contractual damages (the plaintiff is Ms. Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, the defendant is Ms. Ms. Dang Thuy Trang) and a civil case on a property loan contract dispute (plaintiff is Ms. Dang Thuy Trang, defendant is Ms. Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien).

In this trial, Ms. Dang Thuy Trang appeared with the lawyer representing Nguyen Quoc Phu. However, Miss Thuy Tien was absent, continuing to authorize the legal representative - Lawyer Ngo Huynh Phuong Thao to participate in the trial.

Citing news from Dan Tri, at today's trial, judge Le Minh Loan, presiding over the trial, said that up to now, the Go Vap District People's Court has not made a decision to separate the case. Thus, the case of Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien against Ms. Dang Thuy Trang and the case of Ms. Dang Thuy Trang against Thuy Tien will be resolved in this trial.

However, saying that after entering the case, the court has not yet carried out the legal proceedings against Thuy Tien to sue Ms. Trang, but in order for the case to be resolved quickly and avoid prolonging, Thuy Tien's side withdrew the lawsuit request. .

In court, the plaintiff made many arguments that Thuy Tien borrowed an amount of VND 1.5 billion. At the same time, Ms. Trang's side said that Tien had committed some acts of insulting the honor and reputation of the plaintiff. Since then, Ms. Trang asked the defendant to compensate for mental loss in the amount of 14.9 million VND.

On the contrary, the defendant argued that the statute of limitations for initiating a lawsuit against this case had expired, and requested the trial panel to dismiss the plaintiff's petition. In addition, Ms. Tien's side affirmed that she did not borrow money or receive money from Ms. Trang and did not act to offend the honor and dignity of the plaintiff.

Speaking about the case, the representative of the Go Vap District People's Procuracy said that Ms. Trang was not eligible to sue to collect Thuy Tien's debt. Because Mr. Nguyen Quan Trong is the holder of the debt receipt, this does not authorize others to collect debt and sue. Accordingly, the Court requested the Court to suspend the hearing on this request.

For the claim of 14.9 million dong, the representative of the prosecution agency determined that Thuy Tien has the right to respond to information in the press. To claim for damages outside the contract, it is necessary to prove the wrongdoing, the consequences and the cause-and-effect relationship, but the plaintiff did not raise the above issues in court. Accordingly, the Court requests the Court to dismiss this claim of the Plaintiff.

As for Thuy Tien's withdrawal of the lawsuit, Go Vap District People's Procuracy considers it appropriate and proposes to the Court to approve. As of noon on May 31, the trial is continuing

Previously, on November 3, 2022, the People's Court of Go Vap District accepted a civil case about a loan contract dispute between the plaintiff, Ms. Dang Thuy Trang and the defendant, Ms. Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien (i.e. Miss Thuy Tien). . From there, Ms. Trang sued, asking the court to force Thuy Tien to pay her 1.5 billion dong of debt. At the same time, she also asked Tien to compensate 932 million dong, a total of 2.4 billion dong. In addition, Ms. Trang said that Miss Thuy Tien had committed misconduct affecting her honor and dignity, so she asked the defendant to compensate for the amount of 14.9 million dong.

At the same time, Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien also sued Ms. Dang Thuy Trang to the People's Court of Go Vap District. On November 4, 2022, the Go Vap District People's Court accepted the case of a dispute over compensation for non-contractual damages between the plaintiff, Ms. Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien and the defendant, Ms. Dang Thuy Trang. According to the lawsuit, Thuy Tien asked the court to force Ms. Trang to stop posting articles using personal photos, giving false information about her on social networking sites.

Forcing Ms. Trang to remove all articles with false information, images and content that harm her legitimate rights and interests, correct the information and apologize. At the same time, Thuy Tien also asked the court to force Ms. Trang to compensate her for material and mental damages of VND 387.6 million.
