On January 4, the People's Procuracy of Hoang Su Phi district, Ha Giang province said that a decision had just been made to prosecute the accused Trieu Ta Menh (born in 1991, residing in Nam Hong village, Thong Nguyen commune, Hoang Su Phi district) first. court to hear abuse. The victim said that after the incident happened, she wanted to deal with it internally to keep the image for the homestay as well as the locality. However, because she did not receive a satisfactory response, Ms. L. contacted the commune leader to resolve the issue.

The leader of Thong Nguyen commune said that maybe because the female guide drank alcohol, forgot to lock the room door while sleeping, so Menh sneaked in at midnight to play tricks.
